Nintendo owns all of the games that involve characters before they teamed with Rare.
There's no problem releasing those games.

Only Rare exclusive characters and games can't be used.
You wont see Banjo and Bond but you will see DK

It's not likely, it's definite

Nintendo owns that game outright, there's no Rare involvement at all.
The only thing that could hold up that came coming out is Nintendo's problem putting N64 games on the Virtual Console.

what problem is that? I have noticed them not really putting any n64 games on there (except the 2) but I didn't know there was a real problem, preventing them to do it. That is unless you are just poking "fun" at them for not doing it and it really isn't a 'problem' lol.

To be honest your guess is as good as mine for that lol
So far everything I've read covers the gamut with people saying they're spacing out the N64 games to some people saying they're having problems.

When Nintendo sold back it's shares of Rare they got all of the Nintendo characters free and clear with no interference with Rare or Microsoft. Donkey Kong Country had no problem coming out, the same will happen with all the other titles.

No, that's not true

Nintendo's intellectual properties (characters they created) are free and clear of Rare.
Rare and Microsoft have no ties at all to those games.
Nintendo owns them outright.

Is it true that Nintendo VC has got problems? you kidding me right? what kind of problems does Nintendo have with the N64 games? I heard that they had to update Mario Kart 64 because there was an error :S I do hope many N64 games releases as it is one of the MAIN reasons why I got the Wii, as well I hope they release all the Snes games that I want specially all the RPG games that I really want to enjoy.

With DC, it will be released for sure on the VC, and I would not be surprised if it was the same with Diddy kong racing, it was a weird game do... you had to colect stuff to go to other races I dint understand too well I dint play that game too much.

WTF. If Rare would do that, Nintendo will sue them and Microsoft. Donkey Kong is a Nintendo franchise. Donkey Kong Country is a full-fledged 100% Nintendo game. Did you hear that from the 360 fanboys? If they want to play Donkey Kong Country, either to buy it on the SNES or buy the Wii and play on the VC.

As for Donkey Kong 64, there's some problems. Here's the problems: the Rare coin, JetPac (a Rare game) and the golden Rare banana. What will Nintendo do for that? Is Nintendo planning to censored these things? In theory, Donkey Kong 64 will come to the VC.

Diddy Kong Racing is a problem too. Diddy is a Nintendo character while Banjo and Conker (which they are in) are not. You won't see the DKR if Nintendo didn't sign with Rare unless they ported the DS game.

It would be less complex if Nintendo and Microsoft make a non-exclusive contract for the Rare games. But then again, Nintendo should have bought Rare when they had the opportunity.
