Don't own a Wii yet

I don't own a wii yet but I'm very exited in get one when I can. So I have a few questions about, I love those old school games, in fact I own a suoer nintendo because of donkey kong's, mario's and many more and I'm huge Resident evil fan and nintendo game cube have some version not found on ps/ps2, so for me a wii is a big deal, I can sell my super nintendo and those games and get then for wii. I was reading on wikipedia that I can save virtual console games on SD memory card's, I'm guessing I can play offline right??

Another question is, can I save game cube data on SDmemory card(resident evil& others games)or do I need game cube's memory card??

I wouldn't sell my SNES, not too many games are out yet and are worth buying. In your case DK 1&2 and Super Mario 1 are out right now. You CAN'T save VC games on an SD card, that's only for Wii games. You can play offline, but you need online to be able to buy the VC games. Finally, you can NOT save GC data on a SD card you need a GC memory card. Good luck on finding your Wii, I hope you get one soon :)

Do not sell your SNES! If you do, you'll regret it! Besides, you might not get any of your games on VC just yet! Just keep your SNES, it deserves to stay, not to be sold.
