you can use the thumb pad in chocobo and FFIII instead the stylus (I din't play mario 64 and honestly it is not in my list)... I don't have any problem while you can choice how use your ds... like in ultimate spiderman that you can choice to control venom with or without the stylus, isn't the case of spiderman 3 that you to hit, web, avoid etc, you only use the stylus... frankly it make me upset!!!

gunsglinger

When I said I "switched", I ment I stopped using the stylus for movement. I hear that Zelda is supposed to be ONLY touch screen...that's why I brought it up.

Not going to happen. Couple months ago Nintendo agreed to expand its storage in its cartridges.1yodsyo1
what does that have to do with anything? i dont know about the current size of the cartridges, so im just gonna throw some numbers to give you an idea. if it goes from 512mb -> 1 gb. what if the game is 1.5 gb? its still gonna need 2 cartridges. well, if the game surpasses the amount of space available... i say: go ahead. use 2 cartridges. and if that means a higher price, hell. i'd say it'd be worth it. why? dragon quest games are the s h __, and if its a long, and fun game. why the hell not?

I think its 128mb right now.  Do any of us really know how much memory its gonna use!? No.  Does having two cards make the game better just because it has two cards?  NO.

exactly. the good thing about 2 cards would be the massive-ness of the game and the ability to make the graphics even more beautiful. if they can do the same thing by just expanding card size, then that is just as exciting!!!

the excitement is because of the beautiful quality and massive scope of the game that would require more memory. no scaling down for a smaller system. It's DRAGON QUEST!!!

I didn't bother to read all the flame posts here, but technically, it is possible. In homebrew you can disable needing the need of the slot 1 card being in there (and crash when it tries to load... lol), but they have tools (can't say their names! :x) One program asks for a slot 1 card, press A to scan it's ID. Technically, you load the game, then it holds your save file and the GUI type thing in the RAM, then it disables the need for slot 1 card. Then you swap it out, press A and it'll try to read. If it finds it, it re-enables the need for slot 1. (if it is enabled, pulling it out immediatly crashes it) So, it's possible. It'd be awesome if it was. Of course, your kinda asking for hack attempts if you use that method...

That's exactly how I had imagined a 2-cart game would work.
