No not really.... its a pretty lame jump if you ask me... seeing as most games on the ds are 2d and they dont even look much different than the same 2D game on the GBA (yoshi's island for instance.) and plus the 3D DS games dont look much better than PSX games because the Screen is so low-res.

It's not fair to compare the GBA to the DS. That's like comparing the SNES to the N64.

For example, the SNES can pull off simple 3D games like the original Star Fox. It looks like Tony Hawk Downhill Jam for the GBA is another example of that old tech. But obviously Star Fox 64 was leaps and bounds higher in quality than the SNES version. So is Tony Hawk's Downhill jam for the DS. Another example is the Super Mario games. Obviously there's no possible way the GBA can do a 3D Mario yet the N64's Mario 64 is one of the best games of all time!

Think of it this way, the PS1 was more powerful and a huge leap from the SNES and the N64 is more powerful than the PS1. Since the DS basically is a portable N64 with enhanced features....I don't think it's even a fair question, or a good one for that matter, to ask if we are satisfied with the DS graphics from the GBA.

A better question would be "are we satisfied with the DS graphics compared to the PSP." Than that would be something worth discussing.

Because i kept hearing all these DS preachers lauding the Ds with all this praise about how great and awesome the games are, and that they own like three hundred bajillion "must own" games for the ds... i guess it got to me. lol...

I was never really concerned with the graphics to begin with, but I do think that it is an improvement.
