DS is loosing it's quality because it had only a few good games in the last year. Where are all of the good games?SuperSlimShady
What rock have you been living under?!
And probably a lot more that I can't think of at the moment...but you get the idea. 2009 was an epic year for the DS.

theres just so many good games on ds i quit looking lol and just picking up , ,
seriously , ds and wii is the bank ,
I can't agree that the DS has had very few good games in the last year, although I would say that we have now peaked as far as creativity and novelty is concerned. It has been five years after all so it's getting harder and harder to do original and novel things with the 2 screens and stylus. New games, while some of them are great, no longer wow me like they used to in the early days of the DS. To be expected I suppose.
Chinatown Wars also came out in 2009-- that is one of the most solid DS games to date.
Another game that recently came out that I love is Style Savvy, a Nintendo 1st party game. Style Savvy may see like a more girl-oriented game (I got it for my wife), but it actually a really deep game with a lot of options and fun.
I don't think the DS is slowing down, I also don't think the creativity has peaked. We don't see as many original titles on the DS as the beginning such as Nintendogs, Brain Age, and New Super Mario Bros Wii.
However, the RPGs continue to arrive on the DS in abundance. Original games such as Scribblenauts continue to amaze, and even the new Pokemon games have Pokemon walker tool. The DS has lots of good games.
2010 has a pretty good line-up already too (although, I haven't seen a lot of Nintendo 1st party games on my anticipated games list surprisingly).
Games I am looking forward to in 2010 for DS:
Ace Attorney: Miles Edgeworth (Just came out this week, but I haven't gotten it yet)
Pokemon Soul Silver/Heart Gold
Golden Sun
Okamiden
DragonQuest IX
Shin Megami Tensei
