People who own DSLites, I just got a new Onxy DSLite today (yay for me). However, i encountered a mild annoyance. Does anyone elses image on the DS Screen drag. By this, I mean you see the colors of where you character was for a split second after they were there. Its a quick thing, but annoying non-the-less. Is this common? Do you get used to it, and eventually not notice it.

I've had mine since launch, and I've yet to have a problem, let alone one such as you've described. Sorry I can't help ya.

Make sure your battery is fully charged. Mine has never done that.

That sounds like a response time issue. LCDs need to have a fast response time so colors don't blur during fast movement. I've never noticed the issue much with the DS, but it is there. And since every DS has the same type of LCDs in it, I doubt yours is defective. Of course, I don't know how severe the problem is. If it's not terrible, maybe you're just hyper-sensitive to slow response time?

Crud... A new one and it already has problems.

When I bought my DS (yesterday), I bought it at Walmart. They just gave me a receit, nothing saying anything about a Warranty. Is the DS under an automatic Warranty? Will I have to pay anything to get it fixxed? How long does it take to get fixxed.

Just go to Walmart customer service and say that they gave you a defective product then show them what you mean and get a replacement. Theres usually a return policy on big retailer's receipts.

That was the last DS Lite they had at Walmart, let alone a black one, which was the only black DS Ive ever seen. I called Nintendo, there going to send me a label, I just gotta box it, send it in, and get it repaired (And there giving me two free issues of Nintendo Power, since they felt bad for me). Thank you everyone for your help and input.

If only Nintendo of Sweden was that awesome.. I had to wait 6 weeks to get a new Wii, since I got visual problems on my old one.. I did get a free wiimote in the end, but it would've been nice if I didn't had to wait 3 weeks just to get my old Wii back again. Nintendo of Sweden said that there was nothing wrong with it. I then had to bring the Wii to the store again, show them the problem myself, then they sended back my Wii to Nintendo, and 3 weeks later I got the new one. Extremely annoying.

UGH, I had the same issues you had with the screen display sometimes doing that motion blur thing, and I exchanged ds lites many times and to different retailers - they are all the same. I ended up with a grainy type touchscreen that has less noticeable blur. the grid type touchscreens are the worst!! let me know how you luck out.

Nintendo of Sweden is really bad. They never give anything lower than 7 in the official nintendo magazine. No matter how bad the game is.
