ds not turning on why?

i have this ds lite.

it was working 100% before it stopped turning on. why is that?

i have charged it and its full... is the battery dead? or could it be something else? what is the warrenty again?

if so what is the battery type?

open up the battery cover to see what battery it is :), i belive the warrenty was 1 year on standard lites because of hinge crack problem

Call Nintendo. They will ask for your serial number and be able to tell you if it is still under warranty.

I'm guessing that the battery isn't fully attached to the DS. Open it, and see if it is or not.

If worst comes to worst and your battery is dead and you not under warenty...you can buy a new battery off Nintendo.com

maybe you think that you charged it but really you didnt or... check the battery move it a little and then try turning "on" the ds:)

Best case: Your battery is not attached correctly.

Not so good case: Your battery is dead.

Bad case: You charged using a 110V charger on a 220 V outlet plug and fried the battery. (you better check that).

Worst case: Your DS fried.
