Sorry if I posted in the wrong thread, but I have been having problems with connecting my DS. I own an airport extreme and for some reason when I use the Access Point option, my wireless internet has the grey Bar. I for some reason cannot change to WEP because my dad works and he needs it to be on the WPA setting. I have tried manually setting it up but it still doesn't work due to the fact that Im not sure where to locate my Gateway code. I also amusingchannel 11 whichapparentlyisn't helping much... Please help:cry: ! Thanks

DS wi-fi will not work with anything other than an unsecured or wep network. You can't change this on the ds side. If you have a macbook and an ethernet cord to connect to your router, you can follow the steps on this page to configure your macbook's airport to share it's internet on wep security, which your ds can connect to. Be warned, though, this may expose your computer to security threats.

Otherwise, I would recommend looking for a local unsecured hotspot.

Yeah, you might be able to do wifi at a mcdonalds, or a coffee shop for example.

Thanks for the replies... but why would I go to mcdonalds? What does the AOSS function require? Do you still need the router?
