It's not true so I dont care. I'm just ignoring him.

There are so many good JPN imports.
I fell in love with Ouendan.

For imports, I can recommend:

Personally Played games
Ouendan (If you hate Elite Beat Agents, DON'T buy this! No English, but very playable.)
Eyeshield 21 Max Devilpower (JPN take on American football. Best football game on a portable. It really blends a JPN sty le. This is well worth a try! No English, give it 15 minutes and you'll know what you are doing. However, story mode will be completely unplayable.)
JUMP Ultimate Stars (The sequel to Jump Superstars. No English, unplayable without a translation guide. If you like this type of game, it is definitely worth the buy.)
Theme Park DS (EA game, just like the old skool Theme Park game. Game features English!)
Ochaken no Henya DS 2 (Cutesy dog game. Anime type graphics. Reminds me of Nintendodogs. No English. Wouldn't recommend unless you played and liked the first.)
Hiite Utaeru DS Guitar M-06 (Guitar Simulator type game. Plays chords, a neat little tech demo. But is worth the import? Not so much...)

Haven't Tried / Looks Interesting
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters World Championship 2007 (If you like Yu-Gi-Oh, you will likely enjoy this game. Features English!)
Mogitate Tingle no Barairo Rupee Land (Tingle from Zelda gets his own game? This looks interesting!)
Unou no Tatsujin Soukai Machigai Museum 2 (Spot the difference game. I heard good things about. If I am not mistaken, I believe it was shown on Gamespot Presents: On the Spot)
Bleach 2nd Kokui Hirameku Requiem (If you liked the first, you'll probably like the 2nd!)
Atsumare! Power Pro Kun no DS Koushien (A JPN baseball game that looks quite promising.)

I currently have about $250 to spend on a new system. I was just looking for some suggestions on which I should spend it on, a DS or an Xbox 360. Please give recommendations for games and overall quality based on hardware and value. Thank you for your time.

PS: Please no biased replies. Let’s not hate on any consoles.

 Mario Kart DS  I lost it but while  I had it I liked playing battle mode with the computer and the varity of characters such as dry bones

 NEW super mariobrothersI lost it too  but it was over all a good game the fact that you could be Luigi made it better also the mega and mini mushrooms of the best download playes ever

 DBZ supersonic warriors awsome battles and varity of characters also story mode and maximum mode rocked

LEGO star wars II Many new and old characters awsome customisation options such as weapons many old levels

 MARIOHoops 3 on 3   A great basket ball game with some of my favorite characters can be easy or challenging awsome dunks overall awsome game

Madden 05  A good football game and the 1st one other than Bliz I play/played regularly usage of touch screen to pick playes

Final Fantasy III a fun turn based game were you can have so many different warriors and weapons many cool/weird monsters to fight awsome magic spells a respectful story and a great game fun "leveling up game"

Metroid primepinball a very addictive game for all who love the game of pinball and for all who love to solve puzzles there is a mode in which you can accually shoot also you try to use the pinball to hit enemys

Metroid prime hunters a game with a fun story and a ton of new weapons and levels awsome multiplays fight against bots or your friends you can even be other characters in multiplayer mode

Star wars III revenge of the sith a fun beat em' up where you cut though droids of destroy them with your force a fun story mode and fun boss battles also you can fly vehicles such as the X- wing or tie fighter in multi player mode against bots or against others

Spectrobes a fun game in which you exavate minerals and fossils ( fun puzzles) and fight with monsters called Spectrobes in many different environments awsome monsters decent  "leveling up system"

Star fox command  a awsome tactical shooter where you use the touch screen to fly you plane accross stratagy maps and enconter enemys along the way fun shooter mant different planes and piolots fun bosses many environments also get to go after misssiles

Diddy kongracing a fun racing games  many different animal character fun tracts fun touch screen mini game one of the best download playes ever

Wormsopen warfare funny game funny battles love  the fact that you can make up modes andname your worms also fun game battles are like puzzles awsome battles weapons range from cool to ... disturbing (exploding sheep)

Animal crossing wild worldFun  RTG (real time game) new things to do every day  fun game with cool to weird to ugly furniture awsome use of touch screen (make constilations, design shirts hart walll paper carpet) in this game you can even send and recive letters to and from friends and bots

Spider man Battle for new york fun 2D beat em' up it is awsome  how you get to be ultimate green goblin and spider an awsome story awsome comic-panel story fun boss fights fun levels good use of touch scceen to solve puzzles

 UltimateSpider man great 2D beat em' up get to be venom or spider man awsome story awsome comic-panel story fun boss fights fun levels  I relize the reasons I like this ans Spider man BFNY (battle for new york) are practically the same but they are still fun even though they have simimlar game play

 Poke-monblue recue team a fun game awson battle system all of the poke mon you are able to be or be made to follow you (Exept munch lax) fun resueing other poke-mon decent story good turn-based battle system fun "leveling up game"

Spider man 2  WARNING: ONLY FOR HARD CORE SPIDY FANSi just wanted to mention it siine it was a spider man game and it had some some what fun levels even though they get on my nerves some time

Goldeneye  a great shooter with cool weapons and environments it also has a good "Virtual training" were you fight  bots and a multi player to fight friens or bots once again a great shooting games

Splinter cellchaos therory a fun stealth game in whish you will doge / disable alarms sneak into a bank and even get to shoot some baddys a great combina tion stealth and shooting fun game

Marvelnemisis  a fun fighing game inwwhich you get to be your favorite marvel characters and even some ew ones fun battleing system ****c marvel environments good game for all who like marvalcomics and shows and for those don't

Rayman DS  a great  adventure game fun levels awsome power ups awsome challenges

Mario64 lost it a awsome adventure game  that is almost the same as the one for the 64 exept better new stars new characters awsome game

these are some of my favorite games for the DS all awsome gmes most of them are must haves all of them are great games that are the reason I play the DS so much I think these games or (at leats some of them ) should be in everyones colection I recomend all these games

I'm planning on picking up a DS lite within the next month.  With that out the way are both the White and Black DSlite's finger print magnets?amazing_00

The black is a finger print magnet the white isn't.

Also to everybody I'm going to update the thread soon because the new poster thing supports Word. But I'm going to wait a week or so for all the bugs to get out of it.

It isn't that simple, the White shoulder buttons start to turn yellow  the microscopic crack between the White plastic & the shiny outer shell gets disgusting gunk stuck in it. I'd go with the Black. I've had a White & I used my GameStop warranty to return it & get  a Black one.

Actually graphically the PS1 version looks better. Not to mention to looks terrible on the DS lite.

Hehe. My copy of Metroid Prime Hunters is going to arrive in the mail on Thursday.

But I'm thinking of getting another game, while my parents go off somewhere.

So which should I get, and why?

- Bleach DS (The 1st, or 2nd? And if I can't get the 2nd one, the 1st one is good enough, right?)
- Konami Klassiks Series: Arcade Hits (Contra and Twin Bee! Retro fun.)
- Lunar Knights (I just heard it's fun to play.)

I know most people won't be recommending Konami Arcade Hits, because it's not really popular. ):
But oh well.

Trace Memory should not be there. The onyx DS Lite DOES show scratches. That is all. Sim_genius

Your somewhat right about Trace Memory but all and all it is a good game. I also put it there for all the people who want a game for the DS but they have all the main stremeline games. The onyx DS lite does show scratches but there very hard to see.

I still don't see Lunar Knights. You should also add Custom Robo Arena and Asphalt Urban GT 2

Its not a guy thingy, the white DS Lite simply sucks =(. I have it , and everyday i torment myself for not getting the onyx one.

It accumulates dirt on the edges, the hinge its starting to crack , and it gets dirty very easy.

No that is just the voltage for the DS if you live in the US it is the same but if you live in Europe it is different.

hello, i reckon Nintendo ds is one of the best hand held gaming gadget ever! :! ;)

all my games that i have are really good except for one its called advand wars its gets boring and its 2d play is annoing ,not like other games like new super mario bros.

any way i love my DS its the best game player ever! 8) :D
