ds2 as "handheld" as my cellphone?

i like the nintendo ds, it fitts well in my hands and it's big enough to get me immersed into games.. but i can't help but wonder what would have happened if they made it even slimmer.. as it is now i can't really put it in my jeans pockets, so i can't really wear it with me on the train.. i could if i put it in my jacket, but that's not great on the summer, and such an expensive machine should be possible to wear close to your body, so that it doesn't disapear on the train for example, the ds should be pick up and play.. anywhere.

so i hope that the ds 2 appart from being more graphically intensive and have more pixels on the screens and maybe wii improvements, also gets to be a bit lighter still and slightly smaller, pocket size small, so i can wear it with me as i wear my cellphone

i can understand if that ain't happening because it would simply ruin the feel for how u hold it in your hands, but as for technicallities, it could be done. my cellphone has just as many pixels as one of my ds screens if not even more, and it's more than twize as small.. so even though we would like to see the screen slightly bigger nintendo wouldn't need to make the screens physically larger to cram in more pixels, also, my cellphone is a pretty cheap model, but it has mp3, it's a phone, it has a photocamera, and camrecorder, it records audioand it's graphics are lesser than the ds, but not much.. all in the size of slize of ham.. or 5 slizes of ham, the more expensive model is thinner: the slize of ham size...

so i hope the ds2 can get thinner at least, have it weight less, and maybe size down it a little as well, so that u could wear it in your pockets comfortably... hm.. maybe apply a wiifit regim to ds2?

yeah, u could be right, leave it alone, don't make changes to the size, though i have to point out, im not talking about gba micro size, im talking about "almost ds size" just a little smalleraround the edges

and i would only like it if it could maintain the fun factor when playing a game, such as immersion, and a good fit between ure hands...

could you agree with me on this? i mean, i can fitt it in my pockets, id just want it a convenient fit for jeans pockets, u understand?

As it is the ds lite cramps my left hand like no other. If anything I would like the ds lite a bit bigger. I wear mostly cargo type pants so it's no big deal.

why call in a man/girl ds discussion, aren't we really just talking about a ds shrinked slightly for on the go, and a normal ds...

sure some people have large "man" hands and some have normal hands, and some have small.. it would be rediculus if nintendo started selling two models for the ds2.. one for large hands and one for small hands, lol

i mean, ok if they made one slimmer model for easier on the go, that was slightly more expensive maybe, and one normal sized ds2..

prize maybe ought to be the same, since it's more a question of preference, and ive never understood why a thinner cellphone should in all honesty be much more expensive than an already thin cellphone... or ok, so maybe i do; thin makes it more comfortable..

and I know what some of u think, a thin ds2 wouldn't maybe be that great for some peoples hands.. well.. then they'd just have to buy the normal sized ds2, and we would all feel pitty for them

i mean the explanation to why mona lisa is ambigous is in the da vinci code, or if it was a documentary i saw on tv about that dude who did the painting, mona lisa is actually a mix between a mans faceand a womans.. very cool.. he had apprently learnt the trademarks of what makes a womans face female and what makes a mans face masculine by spending a lot of time in the mourge doing autopsies on.. mostly criminals and well.. painting a lot, and mona lisa is some kind of cool mix between the two genders.

i agree, and it's impossible, since the ds is a foldable handheld and should be able to pack a gc processor, so..

it also needs to be comfortable to press buttons and d-pad and analogue stick on it, so..

also.. where to put in cartridges if it's that thin? sure, microsoft is preaching about pure downloadable games to game machines.. but that's not possible for handhelds for several year still

so, but anyhow, yeah i would actually like to have a very thin cellphone if I shoud respond towhat uwrote:P

nintendo selling one in original size, and one that's slightly smaller that's even better for on the go...

but this "on the go" ds2 ought to be almost the same size, it shouldn't really be that different, it should just be thinner and slightly smaller. the ds lite is a nice fitt for both kids and grown ups........ so should both these versions be.

But sure, like everything else it would be nice to see it smaller because I love it that much. Look what they did with the GameBoy Micro! That fit ANYWHERE. my purse, pocket, sock I even stuck it in my bra a few times. But You dont want it getting too small and thin or people will put it in their pockets and sit on it and break it and games are too expensive to have that happened. I mean look at the first Ipod nano, it was so tiny people tried to eat it. and also sat on them, forgot it was in their pockets and sent it through the wash. I actually think nintendo should leave well enough alone.jerseyrockstar

smaller DS = touchscreen too small

I mean the thing is already small as it is, if it was any smaller, it would be hard to make precise taps and movements on the screen with the stylus.

.....but the shrinking of the GBA to the GB Micro worked out fine, as the screen looks clearer (and brighter), it is still fairly comfortable to hold in your hands, and it's really light. also just looks alot cooler than older GBAs.
