When you guys say loose, how loose are you talking about? Will47Slightly loose. You can shuffle it around a bit but only if you apply a small amount of pressure.
Yea, my blue is a little loose too.
If you go to club.nintendo.com sign up and register your DSi it extends your warranty by 90 days. I just did this and it makes me feel more comfortable that if it breaks im good XD
Yeah, mine's just loose enough that it bothers me slightly when I'm playing. Not enough to be considered 'damage' to the system, just annoying... :?
I've had two now. My first one wasn't loose in the least, but the bottom screen had this slight crack between the system's body and the touch screen, where light would shine through. My R button went out in three days (slowly died) so I got a new one. The new one doesn't have that weird light crack, but the top screen is a little loose. Its the right corner that's loose, but the left corner is just fine. This causes a little imbalance when one end wiggles and one doesn't...
Ummm... so as not to stress the hinges of the DSi, they are SUPPOSED TO BE a bit loose.
You have to have a little "play" in the area or all the tension and pressure when opening and closing it would be absorbed by the plastic in the area, causing cracks to happen.
There is such a thing as too tight.
well THANK GOD it's not only mine. It's kind of a special edition and I just noticed this, googled it in fear and well, it seems it's part of the design to leave the top part slightly loose so it does not apply much pressure in the plastic.
Now I'm relieved.
