EA is really stepping it up on the Wii! :shock:Their actually doing........ unique stuff. :shock:

Also you can sing! this is further eveidence toward the Wii microphone rumor. Or mabey a headset! :D Let's hope it's true.

 EA joins the rhythm nation today with the announcement of Boogie, an all new original IP exclusively for the Nintendo Wii. The game is being touted as the complete party game, in which you create a character and then us the innovative Wii controls to dance, sing, and otherwise make a fool of yourself in the course of making a custom music video.

"We're creating something new and different for gamers of all ages to enjoy; the complete party package where gamers can dance as well as sing," said Alain Tascan, general manager at developer EA Montreal. "Nintendo's Wii is an amazing console that really gives us a platform to be creative and to re-think traditional game development."

Sounds great if you're into that kinda thing. Was hoping for an adventure or action game myself.tomarlyn

This game looks like a lot of fun. But the Wii really needs more games with substance and depth. Typically music games are kind of shallow. jsd360

I'm intrigued by this game, and the customization possibilities give it 'depth.' We all want blockbuster titles but the reality is that those take a long time to develop, we're lucky enough to be getting 3 huge first party titles this year.

I think Boogie looks innovative and fun, plus it'll make us all look stupid swinging the controller around....I can't wait! :P
