Easy way to make high quality DS game vids?

As far as I'm aware there are only two ways to go about this:

One being a tester's dev. kit.(which can be absurdly expensive)

The other is your computer. Running roms, while using a specific type of video recording program(I don't know the name, I'm sure there are several).

Either way, it's pretty difficult, and not always legal. What do you want to record? and why?

(I tried to make a Mega Man X speed run a long time ago... didn't work out)

Unless you own a camcorder you need to find a Emulator and the rom to the game your playing.

The emulator will help you get better video but if you dont aready own the game it's illegal
