Fake: New Wii Title Announcement

THEIR IS NO WAY THAT COULD BE A APRIL FOOLS JOKE! the art work looks like it was drawn for the game design. This is gonna take ZELDA to the next level. It looks like a post apocalpytic future star wars game with zelda characters. If they replaced the bow with a gun that would be awesome. this game will hopefully be rated T so i can get it. Which most zelda games are geared towards T players. it had a gears of war essence in the preveiw. If they made it into a over the shoulder cam for shooting like gears and a combo system for sword fighting like devil may cry or something. THEN THIS ZELDA GAME WILL BE THE Wii'S KILLER APP. and if you got HD TV And the Componet cables. this game will take you for a ride on the wild side!8)

The motorcycle isn't from NMH.

This game is not fake. did you people quit watching at the half way mark? They said it has been in production for a year and that they are affraid about loseing the web-site because of posting it. they said they could get chewed out by nintendo for releaseing something that aweosme to the public. The game looks like they are taking alot of elements though from other games. but still this will be NINTENDOS killer app. even miyamoto hinted at something like this.quote:" Twilight princess will be the last zelda of its kind." We all know they were talking of a new zelda with tingle in it... but that could have been a cover up for this! I mean who even like tingle. he is a little flying freak in green tights. This is Zelda with a vengence.

While definitely interesting to say the least, I think there's some issues need to be addressed.

[spoiler] First, there was the art. Now, while it looks very good, something tells me it could've been drawn by any obscure science fiction artist. People draw that stuff all the time.

Second, I saw the appearance of SPHINX in the video. As far as I know, Zelda does not take place on Earth.

As with those 3D models of monsters and guns, those too could've been made by an obscure science fiction artist.

Now, about that screenshot of Midna. This is definitely a reason to be skeptical. I really doubt Nintendo is going to bring Midna back, as she gave me that unique one-game only character vibe. Plus the art looked like just good fanart.

Lastly, guns? You think they'll put guns in this game?

i think this is cool..i like the idea..but its possibly fake as nintendo's april fools joke..i would defently get that game..but people would need to get used to it cause is totaly different..point is it dosent remind of zelda..but if it were true it would suceed.gamesrulejuaner

It's Wii.tv april fools joke, Nintendo has nothing to do with that.

THANK YOU! Finally someone agrees. Midna is not going to be in the Zelda game set thousands of years in the future when she practically starred in the previous installment, Not going to happen. This alone proves the fakeness of this video, not to mention tons of other stuff. 

Yeah yeah Wii.tv having exclusive artwork and info of the next Zelda in development which is set in the future where he actully use guns.

That out of the way, it could be an interesting premise. I don't want to see Zelda go all "badass", but this would be an interesting change to the series, especially if it referenced the older titles and heroes.

I think if it were handled properly it could go well, but there's so many potential pitfalls that it would probably be best to not do it at all. Who knows, perhaps we'll see something like this in the future, since Zelda "as we know it" is over.

Too bad this is probably april fools because that direction for the ZElda series looks AMAZING.  A future world of Hyrule where technology has replaced magic and the "Legends of Zelda" are all but forgotten.....

Then Ganondorf resurfaces....oooohhh, talk about waking this franchise up!!

There's a difference between saying: "this would be cool, if it were true", and "this is cool, it if is true".

We might see a Zelda game like this at some point in the future, but that's besides the point.

This video is fake. The concept art is taken from various places, the details are fabricated, and the "logo" is made up.

It is not real. Please understand this.

If you want to say that it "could" be, please refer to my second point. It might be possible at some time, and Nintendo might even be working on something like this right now. However, those guys over at that website don't know anymore than we do, and thus this video is false.

I'm worried that this post will just make people believe it even more, but I hope everyone understands the subtle distinction I'm trying to make here.
