Definitely, without a doubt the Mega Man Star Force series. Best stratagy/action/adventure game ever.
Dragon Quest V. So much of that game seems to fit all the typical RPG fanfare, until the end of the first act.Then it doesn't even feel like a game, its like an experience where you can have as many popcorn breaks as you'd like.
