I voted SNES. N64 is a close second. Haven't tried the Switch yet.

My favorite is the N64. The thing that I love most about the N64 is it's legendary local multiplayer. There is simply no other console that can match the incredible local multiplayer experience that the N64 offers and I doubt there ever will be.

My overall rankings (not counting backwards compatibility and VC) would be:

1. N64

2. SNES

3. NES

4. Wii U

5. Gamecube

6. Wii

I think that it is way too early to rank The Switch yet, but I have high expectations for it and so far it is delivering. I think that it is going to end up in my top 3 when all is said and done.

Based purely on my experiences and memories:

1. N64 (Mario Party 3 was my family's go-to)

2. GameCube (Super Strikers and Monkey Ball 2)

3. Wii (Mario Kart and Brawl entertained me for a long time)

4. Switch (Zelda is incredible but that's all I've played so far)

5. Wii U (Some great games, but just didn't have as much fun with it as the others)

I'm too young to have much experience with NES or SNES, so they're not in my list.

The snes wins by far. A lot of the games on Super Nintendo still hold up today. They do not need remasters whatsoever. Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 2, Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, Mega Man X, Seiken Densetsu 3, Turtles in Time, Yoshi's Island, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat 2, Sim City, Super R-Type, Castlevania 4, F-Zero, Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Kirby Super Star are the creme of the crop. These games do not need any alterations whatsoever. Great games that might need minor polishing are titles such as Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, the Super Star Wars trilogy, Act Raiser, Super Ghouls N Ghost, Earthworm Jim, and Starfox.

No other Nintendo platform has as many games that still stand up as well today as they did the day they came out.

I'm not really sure anymore, for a long time I used to say SNES without question but NES to Wii all have a lot of games I like and are contenders. Wii U had some good stuff but is obviously lacking after dying a bit early. Switch is off to a good start so far.

I've had them all, handhelds too. Still, Switch is my fave. It might or might not pass SNES or GBA for amount of must play titles, heck could even go belly up who knows. What I beleive is that more thought went into designing this console than every single console before it across every brand put together. I hope it's life is long and that games the caliber of Splatoon 2 and BotW keep coming.

SNES, I think. Played the most games on that. I don't have a Switch yet though.

I voted Switch.

The N64 was the first to win my heart, with 007 & everything Mario.

I loved the Wii and did get a lot amount of enjoyment from the Wii U too. But looking forward to the Switch's offerings. Good times.

I want to say the Gamecube is the one I used the most, thus my favorite. While I definitely played the NES & SNES, I was a bit young to remember my time on those.
