Final Fantasy III on DS - How do you earn magic points and how do you cast Mini?

Hi guys,

Got to the entrance of the gnome village and tried to cast the Mini spell but it wouldn't work. I then figured out that to cast the Mini spell you had to be a White Mage on job level 8. I tried this only to find out that I didn't have any magic points left.

How do I earn Magic Points?

How do I train the white mage?

How do I cast the mini spell?

i hav the game and im in the same place and i just changed to a red mage but it's still the same. but all u hav to do is lvl. up b/c u cant go to an inn b/c there isnt one in the area that he & i am in.
