Final Fantasy IV ................

I'm amazed by the remake of Final Fantasy IV for the DS . Guess i'm gonna grab a Nintendo DS along with this game when it's out !

Anybody else waiting for this title ? Gimme a holla if you're one !

yup, i am waiting for it too. I am playing FF3 at the moment, and i just hope FF4 will be much better than FF3. Anyone else thinks FF3 is kinda boring?joeychew

FF3 is a classic RPG, some people today think it's boring because it uses an extremely dated system. FF4 uses a newer system, has a much better plot, and in my opinion a better set of classes and abilites but in the end it's just another FF, and if you absolutely hated FF4 then you probably won't have much fun with 4.

Yeah I don't play a lot of RPGs but I really enjoyed FFIII on the DS.... and I heard that FFIV is much better so definately picking that one up.

Comes out to NA in July, I think. I got it in Japan last year and it's a great remake - they don't have the returning side characters and extra dungeon from the GBA version but they added new abilities for all of the characters and two mega-bosses.Philosoma

I'm personally dying for this game, and cant wait for the release date in July to come. Especially with the abomination of FF 3. I mean yes it is an rpg (a genre that's only now beginning to surface for the DS), but man the repeated "old-school rpg" is not enough to justify how... unpleasant the game was.

but hey, at least it took a few hours off the wait for FF 4, so three cheers for that!

FF4 is a great game. i had never playe 3 until the DS version and I enjoyed it. FF5 uses a similar system, much better imo, than 3. Anyway, FF4 was the first one I played as FF2 on the SNES. It was oneof the most enjoyable games ever, with plenty of secrets and little side-quests. I would highly recommend it. I am going to pick up the new version as well.

It's sad that the PSP will not get FFIV treatment , but there's still time for me to save up for the DS. I've played FFIV on the SNES , it was 1 of my favourite along with FFVII , so i would definately purchase the DS just for this game, it's well worth it.

I must be the only one who found the characters of FF4 to be just terribly bad ( edward especially, Ugh). The character sprites weren't all that great either.
