I'm getting ZERO final fantasy games for the DS, and do ya know why?
I bought FF3 and the grainy graphics, constipated aura, and TEEEEENSY text just .. appalled me.. And then the other DS FF's like Chocobo Tales look to have even WORSE graphics (if that's even possible), faulty mechanics, and the same recycled boring theme.
FFX was awesome, as was FF:Tactics GBA and a few others. But after seeing the DS's cream of the crop FF's, I'm turned me off 'em for good. If you have a PS2, you should be beating ur DS with a wet blanket for all the FF grief and disappointment it might have put you through.

Um, excuse me, but have you evern PLAYED Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales? Or are you just going off of what you've seen via magazine articles? Because it is NOTHING like any other Final Fantasy I've ever played (And guess what, buddy, I've played every single one of them with the exception of FF: CC for GC & FF:TA). It's much more light-hearted, more cutesy, and the game-play is completely different. The only similarities are in references of popular Final Fantasy themes, such as White Mages, Black Mages, Dragoons, and some of the Summons from the FF series. There's a character named Cid, of course, and there's an Air Ship that you don't even really fly. So, exactly how is it just like every other FF game?Â
