i`m 27.. being gaming since NES and atari times :) And i`m getting galaxy.. thus i have to admit that i`m getting it so soon bc toys r us is giving me 25US$ gift card, if not it would not on list until after i got RE UC and SoulCalibur (hopefully it would live to my hypes :P )
[QUOTE="dinofan01"]im 16 and will have no preoblem picking this game up. but buying apokeon game made me feel really stupidMr_Apple_Soup
lol yeah when i got diamond i kinda walked home with my tail between my legs.....too bad i have no tail, it looked pretty awkward
23. Been a Mario devotee since I was 4, and I haven't been this excited about a game since Final Fantasy VII started its ridiculously huge ad campaign exactly 10 years ago.
And TC, don't even worry about feeling "kiddy", much less feel pressured to act older. Nobody expects you to have be an adult at 13, so enjoy your care-free youth while you can.
That said, I no full-grown man or woman should ever feel weird ordering kid-friendly products. Its walking into an *adult* store that can be awkward. ;)
I am 19. I love Mario games, and I have since I first picked up a controller at age 0. Of course the game wasn't powered on, but three years later I fell in love with actually playing.
Did anyone else get strange looks when pre-ordering or picking up the game? Everyone at EB games acted too high brow for a Mario game, but when I went to Futureshop, there were actually guys older than me talking about how they are getting it first thing.
I'm 24 and I'm picking up Mario Galaxy.thebisonx
I am just like you. 24. And I still love Mario Games.
21, but I think 21-40 is a big age gap personallykidrock17xp
Yeah dude! I said the same thing. I don't understand why such a large selection of ages were all grouped together. As someone who's 27 Ikinda feel a littlepissed about. Well not really pissed, but still....
I think the TC is a kid and therefore doesn't understand the differences in ages over20 lol. Innocently ignorant youth. That is a guess btw.
well, thats a slight shocker for me. i know people say that mario games are for kidd. then there are the die hards who outnumber them and say that they grew up with mario and they are loyal....hmmmmmmmm
o BTW im 15
i don't know. when i was at the store the other day pre-ordering it; i felt kiddy, especially whensaying "i want to pre-order super mario galaxy". i don't know why..[QUOTE="Jayesler12"][QUOTE="Super-Mario-Fan"]Why must you know our ages? Chances are that most who post here are over 12 anyways. Of course, there are a few underage users here I assume, but the majority of us don't fit in that category.Super-Mario-Fan
Lol! Wow. Looks like some people are too self-conscious. I've gone into my Gamestop preordering games like Mario Party 8 and Wii Play without any worries what so ever.
haha yea that is kind of sad. i preordered zak and wiki, galaxy, mass effect, halo 3 and smash bros all on the same day. and the clerks behind the counter (one in his 40s and one in his 20's) went nuts about mass effect adn mario galaxy. i guess some of us gamers... enjoy playing games and dont care what others think about it haha.

i too felt it was weird to be in the 21 -40
i think the break down should have been 0-17 miners
18- 30 young adults
30- 50 mature adults
50-? older adults that still kick butt because they play games.
