Guys let me first say that I bought a Wii about a year ago and like what almost everyone else says, I played it alot at first, but it soon just sat next to my 360 and collected dust. That is until I recently decided that I was going to give a full effort with some of the games I bought for the system, namely RE 4, Metroid Prime Corruption and Mario Kart. I have also recently bought Mad World which is a fantastic game for any console let alone for the Wii.

All in all, I think the Wii has the potential to be a fantastic system if they can make more of the games that I mentioned and less of the Cooking Mama's and such!!

Yeah, I moved my Wii into my Family Room around the time Mario Kart came out, and never really played it since. I hooked it back up in my room, and I've been playing it again.

Since Mario Kart there really haven't been too many good games (In my opinion), but there have been a few good third party titles, that I picked up (That I missed out on before).

Are you saying that buying games for a console actually makes you want to play it more often?

Try out Little King's Story. That game will have you addicted, playing for hours on end. AND it'll probably last you a good 80 hours.

80 hours is not true, I've complete it and last about 50 with all, collectibles and wipes :P

You lie! There have been some pretty good games that have came out since Mario Kart. Tenchu IV, Deadly Creatures, off the top of my head.

This is very true. I've never understood why people use the term "collecting dust" to describe their lack of Wii usage. I use mine all the time and it collects the same amount of dust as items/appliances that i rarely (or never) use. It all comes down to how often you clean, not how often you use something.

I always try and play all my systems equally. There are plenty of good games available on all of them. There's really no reason for any of them to collect dust. Its just pure laziness to not bother and get quality games to play.

DC is good, not Tenchu IV though. I'm a Tecnhu fan and even I think that game is broken.

How is it laziness to not play on a console if you don't think there is any quality games on that system?

Good games aren't going to magically appear if you search enough.

They could.

Maybe you don't know about some games that are out. Maybe there are some good games out there but you shrugged them off, not really looking into them, and now you do your research and find out that the game would be something of interest to you. There are many scenarios.

I'm still finding great games that I didn't give a chance before.

So yes, I think it is laziness if you can't find a game for you, especially when the Wii has such a diverse catalogue of games. The might not be "AAA", but seriously, if you base your purchases off of a number next to it, you need to reevaluate your buying process.

"AAA" doesn't equal "great" to everyone (People complain about Galaxy all the time), just as "A" or less doesn't equal "terrible" (for example, Tales of Symphonia has a 6.8 on Metacritic, yet fans LOVE that game).

So you're basically saying that the wii could be a great system as long as they make more games that you like? What about the gamers that like cooking mama and such? Should they just suck it up, back away from their wii and forget about playing games?

I totally agree, come to think of it, Mario Kart Wii is the last Wii game I actually enjoyed. Hopefully The Conduit will change that, though.
