Hi, im looking  to purchase a Wii in the near future. What I wanna know if there is a memory card required to save games?  Also how does the internet portion of the system work, can I use the same Ethernet Cable as my 360? Thanks!

Nope, the Wii has 512 MB of internal memory. That should last you plenty, but just in case, the Wii uses SD cards to store memory too.

And you have to have wireless internet or a Wii Ethernet Cable for the internet.

I'm pretty sure I just answered your question with the words "WII ethernet cable."

The Wii has 512MB of internal memory, so no a memory card is not technically required. Oh, and there is no "Wii memory card" persay... rather, the system uses standard SD (Secure Digital) cards.

The Wii has onboard 802.11G WiFi, but no built-in ethernet port.

Yeah, you can use SD Cards. Just obe sure, get the 2 GB one, I'm pretty sure they've released those ones.

SD cards exist in up to 8GB flavors. Though the Wii is only officially compatible with 2GB and below (anything higher, and it's hit or miss)

You can use the same ethernet cable, yes.  But the Wii does not have any ethernet inputs.  So you will need to get a special ethernet/USB adapter or simply use WiFi.

Wow, I'm an idiot. I meant Wii Ethernet ADAPTER. Silly me, an Ethernet Cable is an Ethernet Cable.
