I have been using an official 1019 memory card by Nintendo since 2003 when I first got a GC. I used it on that, and then started using it on the Wii to play GC games in 2006. Earlier this year, I was playing Resident Evil. About half way through the game, went to load and it said the data was corrupted. Then it started doing it for other games... RE 0, Sims, Simpsons Hit and Run... pretty much all games except first party ones (Zelda and Metroid). I tried reformatting the card when it prompted me to, but it still won't load the data. I've heard the Wii corrupting 1019 memory cards is common... I was thinking of buying a 256 one, but I read that those get corrupted too. Should I go ahead and order another one or once your wii starts corrupting the memory cards is that kind of it for playing GC games...?

My 256 has been inside my Wii since I got it and the data's still fine. I don't know about 1019s though.
