Donkey Kong Country Returns.
It's a great game, but I wanted Donkey Kong Country 4, and this just wasn't it.
Super Smash Bros Brawl. Excellent game, but its online multiplayer is embarrassing.
I hesitate whenever someone asks me to Brawl with them. The lag is unbearable and games like Mario Kart, Monster Hunter, and Animal Crossing has spoiled me greatly.

That's another one. The online is broken to the point of being unusable.
Metroid Other M.
It was good, but I felt it was cut down in too many key "Metroid" areas, the major one being exploration.
No More Heroes
I heard a lot of great things about it, and although I enjoyed it, it was repetitive and at times dull. The boss fights, art style and humor made up for a lot of it.
New Super Mario Bros
Too easy.
Skyward Sword. Took too long to get interestingWreckEm711
I sorta know what you mean. I have not beat it yet, but Iam about 30 hours in or so. I think its an awesome game, but both it and Mario Galaxy 2 start off kinda slow. Maybe its their way of pacing the difficulty and complexity. As to where OoT kinda throws you in pretty fast, which I like.
For me the biggest dissapointment is probably Metroid Prime 3. Other M was more enjoyable, even though it is more flawed. Metroid Prime 1 and 2 anhilate both though.
Super Paper Mario was by no means a disappointment to me, because I didn't expect it to be Paper Mario 3. I would prefer a proper Mario RPG though.
Super Monkey Ball series has gone downhill and that sucks. I didn't like Banana Blitz.
Wii Sports Resort is disappointing because you have all these cool new mechanics but the game is underdeveloped, mostly lacking content. I understand it's a collection of many sports, but it was way too basic even for that.
Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts I was actually disappointed before I played it, when I found out it was no longer gonna be a traditional 3D platformer like the first two. When I played it, my disappointment was further reinforced. An absolute embarrassment of a game.Nicksonman
This is the Wii forums...lol
I agree though ;)
Brawl was what sucked me into the Wii in the first place. Had I known what a horrible step back it was from Melee I would never have needed a Wii. ZumaJones07
Same with me. It was a lot of the reason that I got a Wii in the first place. I still played the crap out of it, but it just didn't live up to melee in my opinion.
Bonus Round! The most surprisingly fun/enjoyable game that I got was Dead Space: Extraction. I played through it a few times now and think they did just an incredible job considering it's an on rails shooter. Better than the RE games for Wii, I think.

Oh, wrong forum. D'ohNot a Wii game, but Brink. It looked so awesome and my friends hyped it up like crazy, but then I played it and it was a mess. As for wii games that disappointed me, tough call, I'll say the wii's online in every game, which can collectively make itself into one game. If only Nintendo had embraced online. Oh well, Wii U, don't you disappoint us
I thought Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn (while a good game) seemed to be far to close to the GCN games to not be a bit of a downer. Still, it is a great Fire Emblem game, I just imagine what it would be like if it had come out much later in the Wii's life.so_haiGamespot scared me from playing that game. Worth it now if one loved Path of Radiance?

I thought the story was (really) bad, but the gameplay was good. If you're a fire emblem fan, I'd say it's worth checking out.

I have never played a FE game, but they appear somewhat linear and strategy based (squares and stuff). If that is the case, in addition to a bad story, I dont want to touch that :P.

I have not played TS2. Is it that dissapointing? I had it pre-ordered then canceled when i saw how different and supposeldy awful it was.
How can people NOT like Super Paper Mario? Sure, it wasn't a pure RPG like the prequels, but it was still an awesome game, even if it was worse than TTYD.Rod90Being disappointed in a game doesn't necessarily mean you hate or don't like the game. For me personally, I thought Super Paper Mario was a good game. I played through it a few times, and it was very enjoyable. It's just that Paper Mario and Paper Mario TTYD are two of my favorite games of all time, and when I heard they were making a new Super Paper Mario, I expected the gameplay to be like the first 2 games. It was certainly a unique game and there are a lot of cool characters that they put into there. I liked the gameplay, I liked the characters, I liked the story. It's just that I really expected Super Paper Mario to work like the first 2 games. Super Paper Mario was a great game. I was just disappointed because it wasn't nearly as good as the two Paper Mario games that came before it. Dimentio was an awesome villain, and he was certainly a highlight in that game, and the whole Tippi and Count Bleck love story was interesting as well.
Red Steel.I enjoy the game, but the control issues, glitches, and laughable acting are a big disappointment.

I don't know why I didn't follow the game more closely since I am a huge Paper Mario fan and I have been checking for updates on the 3DS one. I might have known a few days before, but if I remember correctly, I think I actually thought is was gonna be like the first 2. I certainly don't regret buying it though because it does have a lot of good points like I said. When I first played it though, I remember being disappointed. Hopefully the one for the Wii U goes back to being like the N64 and Gamecube versions. I know the 3DS is going back to the old gameplay. That is, if they make one for the Wii U, which I am guessing they will.

Its a good 7-8 out of 10, but nowhere near has the magic and fun of the original.[QUOTE="NintendoFan22"][QUOTE="Rod90"]How can people NOT like Super Paper Mario? You should play Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 online if you think Smash Bros is bad. Dbz Bt3 makes Smash Bros online look like Mario Kart. Dbz bt3 is a REALLY good game but the online is horrendous. MONSTER HUNTER 3 NEEDS DLC BADLY![QUOTE="Michael0134567"]I agree with that, but that game wasn't available for the Wii. :P What's that got to do with anything?:PActually,I'm gonna have to change my answer to Soul Calibur IV.What a load of crap that game is.

This was my second choice. Both Smash and Mario Kart took turns in the wrong direction in terms of competitive game play.Mario Kart Wii. Seriously, worst in the franchise. Luckily Mario Kart 7 is awesome

Super Paper Mario bored me. The Thousand Year Door is one of my favorite games... this one... meh...
Tales of Symphonia 2 was a lot of fun and I do really like it, but I suppose it would inevitably fall short of the first one (which is also one of my favorite games).
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, not terrible, and I might actually re-buy it for GameCube somewhere down the road, but again... it had to follow Wind Waker, one of my favorite games.
No More Heroes 2 was disappointing as well. I actually prefered the first one. True, the first had terrible mini games and overworld, but I loved the ending and I thought the bosses had more charater. I know, too bad there won't be a sequel.
Super Mario All-Stars: 25th Anniversery Edition, need I say more?
Oh wait,I just remembered this was in the Wii Forums.God,I can be so stupid sometimes :o.Ignore my last two posts lol.
Actually given more thought, I change my pick from Skyward Sword to ExciteBots.
Skyward sword finished off really strong, and Excitebots was really fun, but WAS SO DANG SHORT. It was like I was just getting into the groove of the game and it ends. Sadface, disappointment.

Not a Wii game. And it's actually a really good game, you were just blinded by nostalgia. That's why the game, in the end, could be described as a flop, because no one wanted it since it was not a platformer. But it truly was a very creative, just amazing game. I've rode in an accurate remake of the USS Enterprise, a mobile home, and an ice cream truck. That's a lot of variation, right there.
Anyways, I honestly didn't get enough Wii games to be that disappointed. If I had to have one, though... Boom Blox. Steven Spielburg + gratuitous destruction = $$$ right? Well, the jenga-type games are just impossible with the Wii remote in my opinion. Everything else is fun enough I guess, but some how I didn't find any enjoyment. I do intend on getting its sequel though, it seems to be the cure I needed.
