Games you MUST own for Wii (your game opinions)

So, I've read the reviews and been through every page of the recommendation thread but I still want to know from you:

*What are the Wii games, in your opinion, that MAKE Wii to you? What games belong to Wii? (if that makes any sense. The way Earthbound belongs to SNES or Nights into Dreams belongs to Saturn...or used to.)

The only game I've played for Wii is Mario Galaxy and I couldn't be happier but, I don't want my next game to seem like shmess in comparison. Some one told me Elebits is 'the' game for Wii, but I've never played.

I think Manhunt 2 feels great on the Wii, and Metroid Prime 3 is just plain awesome. Also Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is a fantastic game that couldn't exist in such a strong form on any other system...

Agree, UC is awesome one of my best game. Metroid Prime 3 is cool, also Strikers, Geometry Wars Galaxies, Trauma center and RE4. But I don't have a lot of Wii games. I'm sure there are other awesome ones

I literally had RE4 in my hands today at the store. The line was too long so I left but, I think I'll buy it tomorrow.

UC has looked interesting, but with the release of the House of the Dead combo in Japan, I might wait to see if they head overseas.

How does Trauma Center compare to the DS version? Are the later levels as difficult?

Well one strong point of UC is it's story and all the RE universe, It's not just an other onrail shooter. As for Trauma Center: Second opinion (not new blood, didn't try the sequel), it's almost the same as the ds. What makes this one awesome are the controls, they have been well implemented. Great to see some 3rd party companies making good efforts with the Wii

i'm not too much into remakes and fast done games ....

but i really can't wait for Bully and Okami because i haven't played them yet

I rarely buy games now and the last one I bought for the wii was back in june with Resident Evil 4 so much better then the GC since aiming is a breeze and a rush when you get going. I played throguh it more then 1 and did all the extras unlike with the GC and being hardcore gamer/collector that is saying alot for that game.

And then I got metriod prime 3 for christmas and spent the last 3 nights playing it. It takes alot of great elements from the primes and other games and combines it into one sweet package. Sure it felt a bit empty in a couple aspects if you loved Prime 1 but when Prime 3 has its momments... you will be friggin pumped and be having a great time(depending on difficulty and your skill level of course) and I actually 100% it as well. Only took me 14 hours to do it but it is a great experience and I will most likely revisit it again a few months down the road after I clear off my plate with other games on other systems I currently own.

Zelda was great action adventure game and newcomers will love it. But for die hard fans of the series like myself will sometimes agree that it is the worst zelda out there to date. But that is if you have been playing every single title since the NES/SNES days. So people that started out with Wind Waker will most likely love it find it a great adventure with lots more to do and will keep you busy for at least 60 hours if you do every single thing in the game without a FAQ.

do not get elebits i would get either zelda twilight princess, metroid prime 3 or re uc
