I have real issues with the colour in this game. The first training level looked bad, but I thought maybe it was just a bland level. Now i'm into the dam level and everything is very dark.

I switched to the screen settings, it says to up the brightness until you can see the logo. Even on the brightest setting, there isn't even the slightest hint of a logo!? You can see the screen getting brighter, but the black area stays black.

I'd blame the tv, but i've no issues in any other games or systems!?

I've spent a while tuning the game "screen" setting and my actual tv settings and, although there is still no hint of a logo, the game is more playable.

Would the component cable help? I know it changes the res up to 480p, but will it help with colour depth as well?

Yeah, its a HD TV. I think its the use of composite over component that might be the main issue? The real nintendo cables are expensive though and I dont know if I trust cheap 3rd party ones. I think i'll try a 3rd party one tonight and wil return it if it doesn't work.

that'd work, and if you have a non HD tv to use, use it.

I changed it over to another TV - still and LCD/HD tv and it looks fine on this one? It must just be certain TV's!? Very odd.

Well, switching to component might help, but let me tell you, it doesn't help that much. I'm using component cables and Goldeneye Wii is still too dark, although on the screen brightness adjustment menu, I can barely see the logo.

Yeah, methinks that Activision should have upped the gamma for this one.
