GS Mario Galaxy review?

I shall express my opinion on the matter

GS will give it the score it deserves according to them. Which is fine and won't bother me. I'm not sure if most nintendo fans are honestly serious about this bull **** GS hate but either way, it truly is getting old seeing them complain about GS. Ever since 8.8, always the same tone. Stop crying and get over it. If you leave because of a score then LOL @ you XD

Anyway, dont get the impression that i want it to completely stop. It truly is funny to watch the fans tare GS over a score. After all, it must be serious business for them to do so.

The review is based on what GS thinks of the game. While people may not agree with GS's opinion, at the end of the day everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

In other words, people arguing for/against gamespot(including me) will never truly be right/wrong since it's all just opinion based lol.

well .. to be honest .. I don't think GS gives a s*** about what you guys think, because for all that matters, I know that most of you are going to end up getting the game, doing so, invalidates the mere reason of reading a review (according to GS), which is to help you make a purchase decision. They don't care if you played the game, then went back to the review, and got pissed off because it was lower than you think it deserved. They are supposedly communicating with the other side of the moon here.

Speaking of the moon, I still found what Jeff said about GS reviewing policy a bit glitchy. I mean on one hand, they claim that the score is there to help you make the right purchase decision. According to this, If I was only to get one wii game, and I was interested in both Wario Ware and Twilight princess, does that mean that wario ware is going to entertain me more than twilight princess, therefore, I should buy it over Zelda ?? I duno about you guys, but that does NOT apply to me at all, I doubt if it'll apply to most of you .

Wario ware was awesome, but Twilight princess is a different story ...

Another glitch, they are supposed to review a game in accordance to what platform that certain game is for. I don't think thats happening here, they are probably comparing the graphics of a Wii game to an xbox360 game, you can't simply do that, its absurd.

Conclusion, yup, keep at it guys and raise the stakes, we are going on a revolution if Galaxy got a low score here ...

I really don't care about GameSpot reviews since then. Super Mario Galaxy is my GOTY nothing else.

Well most of the games getting over 9.0 these days are the multiplayer games! and the likes of Zelda, Metroid prime 3, and most likely Mario G get lower than that cause there single player based!

eg Halo 3. u can not compare it to Metroid prime 3 on a single player level, MP3'ssingleplayer is amazing, but Halo's multiplayer is what got it it's score! which it deserved! MP3 how ever should have got 9.2,if it had a multiplayer in it an online one, it would have been better than halo.

gameplay and lasting appel/worth both slip into the multiplayer scene i think. and thats why these big hitter have been not so big hiters oh that and gamespot are haters lol and they should stop compareingwii graphics 2 360 and ps3 games it's not next gen it's it's own gen!

Super Mario Galaxy will do well. Famitsu gave it 37 out of 40. Famitsu also gave Assassin's Creed 37 out of 40. The reason I made a bet on this game getting a 9.0 from gamespot is because its that good. There is no reason to worry. The music is awesome (fully orchestrated with real instruments), the graphics are awesome, the game is fresh (twilight princess was like ocarina of time and MP3 was like MP1 & 2), the levels are big, there is lots of variety (with starman etc), first time they've made a mario game where you can walk on the walls, and this one has game of the year potential. Go see youtube if you want more persuading.gam3r3OOO

Me too, even though I remember the both of us saying the same thing when MP3 was reviewed.
