It won't happen and here's why: Every single game that Rockstar is putting on the Wii is a PORT!! They're just trying to get a quick buck from everyone who has a Wii

Isnt Manhunt 2 a new game? Even if they are ports, its still support from Rockstar.
I don't expect a GTA IV for Wii, however I really expect a San Andreas Stories port for Wii (if it's ever made of course) among the PS2 one.
But at least we know one thing: Jack Thompson would become a very angry man.
I have never played Manhunt... but i have play Bully and GTA, from that I can tell you that just because we are getting Bully, it doesn't mean we will get GTA. GTA is whole new breed of madness and crime, I cannot imaging seeing GTA on the Wii, it just too insane for nintendo's taste, but who really knows maybe we'll get it????Eternal_Phoenix
A game whose focus is on murder is not insane as well?

If you are willing to put out a statement that GTA is too insane for Nintendo's taste you should take a look into ALL of Rockstars games announced for the Wii, including ManHunt, before making such a statement. And I haven't playedManhunt too;)
i doubt that there will be an exclusive GTA game only for the Wii, like GTA V, because Rockstar will make loads more money selling on all systems.

I understand your point, but I think you are confusing reading with first hand experience. Because seen a picture of some guy with a needle in hand, as he is about to attack some guard doesn't really tell me much, sure Rockstar and some other person will give their experience about how violence the game is, but really, how can I make a REAL argument about something which I only know thought second hand experience, thats why I did want to talk about it. Still, I believe GTA is far more violent/insane than Manhunt, why:
1 . I have played it
2. Although GTA's graphics are crap, it lets you kill COPS, Hookers, bystander, Soldiers, etc.
3. It also lets you sell drugs, steal cars, rob banks, blow up building, steal military equipment lol, etc.
4. But most importantly it caused the whole "Hot Coffee" incident, which even reached Washington! Now, just how many times has Manhunt cause this kind of national shock???

Hot coffe caused such national shock because the game was already on the market when this content was revealed.Manhunt 2, not yet on the market, was rated AO because it was straight up sick and gory, but will be toned down to meet that M rating, so it will be released. If Ninty is allowing for such a game, M-rated of course, then I think GTA would easily pass as well. Just take a look at this preview: Manhunt 2I wouldn't want a port of a "last gen" game I'd want something new.

agreed, ports are normally only good of hte person hasn't played the games before

Godfather for the Wii does 90% of this. You phail.
It seems like the way there going. Im happy with Bully as ive never played it, but it would be sooooo easy to port GTA 3, vice city, vice city stories, and Liberty City Stories!!! Even San Andreas!killeryoda85
GTA III on the Wii would be so cool. Like an upgraded version of it with better graphics, some extra missions and of course, Wii controls.
I don't know if GTA IV would run good or even look good on the wii, but San Andreas would be awesome and I have no doubt that it would run great on the WII. I think R* will bring atleast the old GTA games to the wii. And maybe maybe in the future they will make a GTA just for the wii. That would be awesome..FreddoX12
Personally to me, GTA 4's graphics don't look that good for a next gen game. It's possible to still bring this game over to the Wii, without it looking like an eye sore. I'm in no way saying it'll be on par with next gen systems, but if the Wii can pump out MP3 quality graphics....then GTA 4 could look decent on the Wii. With graphics aside, the gameplay would be the selling point fora Wii versionif it is done right and is not made in a cheap matter.
Whether it's a port or a game built from the ground up, there is no denying we'll eventually see a GTA title on the Wii (I just can't say which one or if it's completely new). I mean who would've thought Rock* would bring Manhunt 2 and now Bully to the Wii? My point exactly. It's coming....

What kinda sick freak kills hoes? Man, I'd smack dat.
with the success of the Wii, and the fact that R* is already porting Bully (thank you R* :D i've wanted that for a while) and Table Tennis to the Wii, it seems fairly likely that it could happen. i, like all of the others, would want it to be a totally new game designed for the wii from the ground up. unfortunately, it seems much more likely that they would just port San Andreas, or maybe GTA3 and GTA Vice City to the wii in that double pack.fmobliv06I'll buy it... I never do the story, I prefere destroying everything. I never had a ps2 so I never had a gta, but I played it lots of times.
With the wii's control schemeshooters on the wii are tedious to play and ruin the gaming experience. There is no way that GTA4 will ever come out for the Wii. The Zapper may clear up some things, but that doesn't stop the moderatly ok, but still faulty infra red sensor bar system of the Wii. It just won't happen.darkchaostitan
You must be poorly skilled if you say that. The Wii is AWESOME for shooters. I loved the controls for Scarface, and I would much rather play a Wii GTA than anything on the 360. The wii pointer is so much better for shooters than the standard controller. If you don't like the Wii controller, stick to the 360.
