[QUOTE="darkchaostitan"]With the wii's control schemeshooters on the wii are tedious to play and ruin the gaming experience. There is no way that GTA4 will ever come out for the Wii. The Zapper may clear up some things, but that doesn't stop the moderatly ok, but still faulty infra red sensor bar system of the Wii. It just won't happen.santiagochile
You must be poorly skilled if you say that. The Wii is AWESOME for shooters. I loved the controls for Scarface, and I would much rather play a Wii GTA than anything on the 360. The wii pointer is so much better for shooters than the standard controller. If you don't like the Wii controller, stick to the 360.
No offense, but you have poor tastes. Scarface turned out to be horrific, but some do work with the pointer, like Resident Evil 4, but Rockstar will never make the move to the Wii. Now games like Metroid Prime Corruption would be most exelent for the Wii, these are console selective for the Wii that's why they work well. Unless Nitendo strives absolutely for its success, but saying that GTA would come out for the Wii is saying that FF13 would come out for the 360. It would be much anticipated, but still would only be an expectation.

Actually, the Scarface controls were great. The game controlled better than any GTA game I've played on PS2. That kind of control would be perfect for GTA on the Wii. It's hard to take you seriously when you say that Rockstar would never make the jump to Wii. Rockstar just announced two games this week for the Wii. Try again. I bet we'll hear about a GTA for Wii, maybe San Andreas Stories, within a few months, or even a few weeks.

Sure we will. I meant the game itself wasn't good, not the controls. All I am saying that it is highly unlikely that GTA would come out for the Wii. Especially the fact that no news articles have been posted on its release, which are just speculative expectations. Not even a official comment. So it its kind of hard for anyone to take you seriously when you have no real facts to back up your argument.

Now you are just being absurd. Rockstar just today announced Bully for Wii. Earlier this week they announced Table Tennis for Wii, also. We all know that they will announce a GTA for the Wii. Most likely they will not launch an exclusive for the Wii. Now seeing that they probably would have a hard time fitting San Andreas on a UMD disc, I bet that any San Andreas Stories would come out for Wii and PS2. Just because Rockstar hasn't called you and told you this doesn't mean the game will never come out!
I want gta, but let's get this right
I dont want a port of a last gen game or some cheap money quest like a stories game. I want a ground up title that is built with the wiimote in mind. This could mean some drastic changes in the nature of how missions are done, how police and enemies are done, and how settings are done. I dont want GTA for the wii to share multiplat status with the psp
I dont want another GTA 3 game either. It sends the wrong message. If you're making a fresh start with a ground up title and not a port, why not leave last gen in the past for it? Those characters have been exhausted anyway. SA basically went full circle by adding claude in it. The stories games were just mindless addition. Why not have split off sequels to GTA4, one line that goes to 360/PC/ps3 and the other goes to the wii? The plots could tie together in ways that are notimportant to know but thatconnaiseurs of the series would appreciate.
That's a lot of demands, but honestly I think the wii deserves it. The wii is going to be a sales giant. The wii is a relatively inexpensive console to develop for. It's not that big a deal to take the console seriously and a true wii experience would grab the market's attention
I'd love a new original GTA game, but if Rockstar just wanted to make money . . . They should release the last gen trilogy with updated graphics and some extra content. After that they can release San Andreas Stories, and then they can release the GTA: Stories trilogy with updated graphics and extra content. Then in a year or two, they can release a special limited edition boxed set of all 6 games.Zerostatic0
I can see that happening. lol. Though I'd only buy the III, VC, SA trilogy. LC Stories and VC stories were pretty cack!
I'll sell my Wii if that ever happens. That junk doesn't belong on any system.murlow12
[QUOTE="FreddoX12"]I don't know if GTA IV would run good or even look good on the wii, but San Andreas would be awesome and I have no doubt that it would run great on the WII. I think R* will bring atleast the old GTA games to the wii. And maybe maybe in the future they will make a GTA just for the wii. That would be awesome..Tri-Enforcer
Personally to me, GTA 4's graphics don't look that good for a next gen game. It's possible to still bring this game over to the Wii, without it looking like an eye sore. I'm in no way saying it'll be on par with next gen systems, but if the Wii can pump out MP3 quality graphics....then GTA 4 could look decent on the Wii. With graphics aside, the gameplay would be the selling point fora Wii versionif it is done right and is not made in a cheap matter.
Whether it's a port or a game built from the ground up, there is no denying we'll eventually see a GTA title on the Wii (I just can't say which one or if it's completely new). I mean who would've thought Rock* would bring Manhunt 2 and now Bully to the Wii? My point exactly. It's coming....
