Guitar Hero Metallica

According to IGN, it's coming. Anyone else extremely excited? Metallica is definately one of the greatest bands of all time.

I'm also hoping it has songs from the artists that inspired Metallica, just like they are doing with Aerosmith.

This could possibly be an expansion to GH4 just like Aerosmith is an expansion to GH3.

I think that this will probably end up being one of the harder guitar hero games when it comes out.

dang GH Metallica would be really cool

if they pick songs from all albums, these would good, especially for people who aren't familiar with Metallica

Metallica's newer work isnt as good as the old stuff. So im not too interested. Plus, i'd rather hav GH: World Tour than this.

I still think that people were begging for Guitar Hero: Zeppelin more. I like both bands, but I'm just concerned about the millions of WHERE'S ZEPPELIN threads bugging the forum.

If you want to get into copyrights, put in the Imperial March cover they did.

I've never played any of the Guitar Hero games, but a Metallica version I would buy. Heres hoping that they exclude all songs from St. Anger.

Agreed, anything from St. Anger would be garbage. Anything from any other Metallica album would be awesome

but comon... it has a few good songs... Frantic, Some Kind Of Monster, Invisible Kid, Dirty Window, MyWorld, Unnamed Feeling... these are decent

Compare all those songs to everything from Kill Em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and ...And Justice for All. They don't even come close.

Yeah but in case you didn't know Zeppelin almost never give permission to use their songs in anything, and there hasn't even been 1 Led Zeppelin song in GH yet, let alone a chance of their being a whole game.

Metallica will be awesome though, I love the harder songs in GH's and most of the songs in GH:M would be hard so I'm happy. Plus there is all the awesome bands they've played with to factor in.

If you own a radio you've heard Master Of Puppets hundreds of times. Best song? Good one, Metallica is nothing but a bunch of egotistical sellouts. Lars and Hetfield both think theyre in charge. Hammett is pretty good but overrated, definately not top 10 like so many people consider him.

I see your point, but not everything from the 1st 4 albums is better than St. Anger and the Unnamed Feeling IMO... (though the background vocals on St. Anger are kind of lame). If Sanitarium was on the St. Anger album it would probably have been destroyed by critics, but since it is on MOP it's all cool (I mean, I like the song, but the chorus is kinda weak).

What am I missing? Mustaine was kicked out Metallica and replaced by Kirk Hammet. He helped write some of Kill Em' All and Ride the Lightning, but he didn't appear on any of their albums.

That's true, he has writing credits for songs on the first two albums but he was kicked out for being a drunk before they recorded Kill 'em All.

The were the best band of thier time. I guess you were one of the Glam rock ppl with your tights, hair spray and makeup. Metallica's newer work isn't that good but its hard to top thier first five albums. Though I like grunge sometimes I want my guitar rifs to have more than 3 cords.

Huh? Metallica only had one song in GH and that was in GH3 was released less than a year ago.

BTW, I loved Metallica way before GH even existed.
