Guitar Hero Question

When ever i play multiplayer in guitar hero, the second players sound cuts out, is this because of the missing dolby surround sound, or is my game just messed up?

not all the notes, but the ones that are hit dont make sounds

i dont know if this is ur problem but this came to my mind...

when first playing coop gh2 on ps2 and player one was bass....the bass would be louder than the guitar which it shouldnt be...so u had to go to audio options and unchecka box next to stereo sound or something like that
