Has Your Wii Ever Freezes On You?

It's been a few months since I posted this fourm and my Wii froze on me a few times. Well I will tell them to ya!

While I was playing Eighteen Wheeler: American Pro Trucker on my Wii. I was doing Score Attack Mode, but then when I selected it and the game is loading. But then it doesn't load and the words "Now Loading" are not blinking and I realized that it's frozen. It was on the first day that I bought the game from Gamespot for eight dollars.

Later when I was playing Eighteen Wheeler: American Pro Trucker. I was doing arcade mode and I selected a trailer for the second level. Then when it loads then it does the same thing. Oh man I wish there was a save system in Arcade Mode but now I started over.

Later when I bought Need For Speed: Underground 2 for the Gamecube to play on my Wii. I was in one of the ciricut levels and I cannot hear the sound effects and I lost the race. Then when I was about to try again, the game froze on me right at the loading screen. I had to take the game back because of that but it was a good game.

Well everyone knows that every game freezes on you for some apparent reason and sometimes no apparent reason. Like the framerate is on a high level and all the sudden it drops to zero. Sometimes it freezes on the spot and sometimes it freezes on a black screen. Let me tell you the stories about my Wii freezing.

First Time

While I was in 5-4 in Super Paper Mario. I'm almost to the boss and then when I first got into the room and then I jumped and the game froze, and plus I forgot to save before-hand. Then after that I tryed again and it didn't freeze. It's maybe some sort of error.

Second Time

While I was playing Rayman Raving Rabbits (Don't Own). I was about play the minigame where you pick up Rabbits. But then I pressed a button and the game froze instantly. I didn't play the game after that.

Thrid Time

While I was playing Cruis'n, after I got done with L.A. Ghetto. Then the End Race Stats screen comes up about my score. Then when it about to come up to the Fast Times screen, the game froze. Then I tried again and it didn't freeze on me.

Fourth Time

I was playing Cruis'n again through L.A. Ghetto. Then after the end race results just before the Fast Times screen, then the game froze again for no apparent reason. I just want my $100,000 dollars in cash.

Fifth Time

Like the last time, same level, same old screen, but this time I have to insert my name in and guess what? The Game froze again for some apparent reason and then I got my disc clean and try to clean it and I though it might work.

Sixth Time

While I was playing Cruis'n over at my friends house. I've played though all the course on easy mode. But then L.A. Ghetto came up and after the race and the game froze once again. Then my friends parents where wondering what that noise was then I said, "My game froze!" Then I realized that I've played the game too damn much so I have to wait until later.

Well L.A. Ghetto doesn't always freezes on me. Maybe when I only trying to make a new record to the Fast Times. The arcade version also know as The Fast and the Furious never does that to me. It's maybe a glitch that the developers left it to screw with people's heads. So what is your Wii freezing stories, then post them here if you have a interesting one. Also don't make fun of me that I've played a game that Gamespot rated a 2.5. a while ago.

it happened to me in MK and brawl and the internet channel

I ended up having a bad SPM disc. Froze three times in the pit of 100 trials, levels 45, 91, and 97, then another in the pit of 100 trials 2 at 56.

Needless to say, I knew i needed the spoils at the first pit, but I saw Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the same price as a SPM trade-in.

My Wii hasn't froze after that.

Froze twice on me, I think. Once while trying to load a vid on the Nintendo Channel. Another time while trying to restart a game after I died on Metroid Prime 3.

It's frozen on me in GH3, Okami, Brawl, and i think once in TP

It froze on me when I was playing Red Steel (big surprise).

It sometimes freezes on me if someone in my house is making large downloads on my networks when I'm trying to play online.
