Am I the only one that found Heavy Rain to be very boring? I don't think I'll need to see it on Wii.

If you actually owned and played Heavy Rain you would know that it messes up from time to time. The sixaxis motions, that is.

Yes, the motions

So a game on the Wii where that's all it's got would be a disaster

Heavy Rain type game that isn't a port and built to work with Wii controls? Sounds great if you ask me!

^lol I would assume you never heard of Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit. Secondly I'm sure doing the teeth brushing motion with the wiimote would work just as well as the sixaxis, press A on the wiimote would work just as well as pressing X, lifting the wiimote and nunchuk would probably work better than working the triggers to raise your arms. There's nothing stopping a game like that from being on the Wii, hell a game like could be on the DS and PSP. Oh and last I checked, Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy were games, so they would kind of slot in really well into that whole gaming thing.

"that's all it's got" meaning Wii lacks the horsepower??? Motions like brushing your teeth would be better on the Wiimote. There may be some specific motions that are work better with the sixaxis accelerators. The point being esp. with WM+ they could make a Heavy Rain-like game with motions suited to the specific controller and it could work great, unless you have some sort of crystal ball to prove me wrong otherwise. Heavy Rain does benefit from good graphics, but that type of game's main focus is telling an interactive narrative which could be done on Wii easily. The real problem was already highlighted by Patcher. Heavy Rain is a niche title that only hardcore know about, but its content appeals more to a mainstream cinema narrative loving crowd. This complex would be tens times worse with Wii's audience. Heavy Rain has found some success on PS3, I do not know if they could do that well on Wii unless Nintendo published the software.

No, I don't want Heavy Rain on the Wii. A lot of what makes it so good is the great graphics that makes the world feel much more realistic.

I would love more adventure games on the Wii though.

As a couple of people have already said; buy Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
