That's what you get with a text heavy game. Just don't slack off and skip through dialog because you might regret it later.

I thought it was a great game. I like these kinds of games, little gameplay elements weighed heavily with a good story that made me care. I hope another comes out.

it's a book with music and pictures. all stories have dull moments, but it's a great playthrough.

I love these text heavy games. I don't own Hotel Dusk yet, but I do have Pheonix Wright:T&T and Touch Detective. These games are great for the days I feel like taking a break from whatever RPG(s) I happen to be playing. I can just kick back and take it slow, like a book, actually more like those "Choose your own Adventure" books. Hey, those would make great DS games...the "Choose Your Own Adventure" DS game series! LOL, I like it, where can I pitch the idea??

Anyway, I do like this new genre and look forward to picking up a few more similar titles. Good Luck and Enjoy!!

I loved it, and it's my most favorite game. Definitely slow paced, but that's what you need, if you want to follow the story and the gameplay that goes with it. The dialogues are very sharp, so you might need some time to process them and think back, to slowly understand the link with the past. It's a brilliant DS novel.

I've played and beat it also. I've never played a game like it. I thought it was a great unique game! Sure would like to see more like this on the market..
