If Nintendo had kept the alias "Nintendo Revolution" instead of using the name "Wii", do you think that the Wii would have differed in any way than it is now?hawk2416i would be less embaressed to say i play with my wii, and their comercials would have been more cooler instead of kiti

"Kiti?"
*Facepalm*
it would never have gotten the publicity that it has gotten, since when you hear "Nintendo revolution" you'd just be like, oh another console
but "Nintendo wii" it's like wth?!?!? what did they name that?monty_4256
I agree with you 100%. Yea, when we first heard the new name, it was horrible. Well.... it still not great, but it was a smart move on Nintendo. Yes, their were millions of puns about it, but it got people talking. It was unique, and totally insane. The media would have completely ignored it if it was sill canted the Revolution. Think about it; do you hear the media talking about the 360 or PS3? (I'm not bashing them; I love all the consoles. :)) No, you don't because they're just "another console".
