I noticed a trend with my friends that non of us bothered to beat twilight princess, i was wondering if that was just us, or everyone else also. Plus if you did beat it, did you like it?Tondre22

Its just you! I really enjoyed playing TP to the point that i didnt want to finish it but eventually did.
Up until last week I was enjoying myself, despite my slow progress. Now, I'm stuck... I must've played the same part about 30 times by now and I can't get the stupid horse and cart down the path. Dumb flying things dropping bombs... Dumb things shooting flaming arrows... Dumb horse freaking out and moving around so much I can't put out the fire...
This game has taught me one thing: I suck at games where you're required to multitask (shoot arrows while riding a horse). I have a feeling it'll take me 100+ hours to complete this, if I don't get so frustrated I quit before that. I don't know how anyone can claim it's easy. NSMB was easy. This is like trying to tie shoes blindfolded with only your toes.
Well, my friend let me borrow ir for Gamecube a while, and I got to the fourth dungeon before he took it back.
Now I've got it for Wii, and I just got the Tears of Light in Kakariko Village. It's kinda boring so I just play a little at a time.
How can you tell what percentage you beat it at? Anyway, I beat it on the GC first since I couldn't find a Wii. I enjoyed it immensely, but when I finally got it on the Wii, it was kinda boring, though I did beat that version too. Other than the controls and the east-west switch it was the same as the GC version. I still rated it high but I wish I would of waited for the Wii version first. I am looking forward to, hopefully a brand new, Wii-only Zelda game. I will close by saying I did enjoy the Wii controls over the Gamecube's.OctavianZarda
you can tell by if you genually did everything. like i did every side quest. like roll goal, poes, bugs, magic armor, spring water, secret moves, etc. thats basically how you tell. but there is a thing online that asks you what you have completed and calculates out what percent youve completed. i dont know where it is. h.o ill try to find it.

Oh ok. Thanks. For a second there I though that there was supposed to be a percentage counter next to my file name.[QUOTE="OctavianZarda"]How can you tell what percentage you beat it at? Got to the lake bed temple a month ago and haven't played it since.LINKloco
Heh, I was in the same position as you until yesterday. I got there, was like "I don't want to do another water temple... these suck!" so I gave up for three months. So two days ago I decided to beat it, and I did, but then I stopped playing again. For some reason this Zelda just isn't holding me like the previous two did on the N64, and Link to the Past did on the SNES.
