I noticed a trend with my friends that non of us bothered to beat twilight princess, i was wondering if that was just us, or everyone else also. Plus if you did beat it, did you like it?

Took me about a month to beat it, but I was dealing with final exams for much of that time.

I beat it. I loved it. Its a good game. ITs worthy of AAA status, just like every other site and review mag gave it. Its just yes it feels more like an Ocarina ripoff than its own Zelda. But all in all its a good game.

I got up to the level where you're helping the Yeti, and once I beat that castle I just quit. Got too boring.

You forgot the option, beat it but liked it.  I enjoyed myself but it falls short when you stand them up to what the other games have done in the series.

I beat it and liked it. I wouldn't say that I loved it, personally I still think OOT is still the best in the series.

Up until last week I was enjoying myself, despite my slow progress. Now, I'm stuck... I must've played the same part about 30 times by now and I can't get the stupid horse and cart down the path. Dumb flying things dropping bombs... Dumb things shooting flaming arrows... Dumb horse freaking out and moving around so much I can't put out the fire...

This game has taught me one thing: I suck at games where you're required to multitask (shoot arrows while riding a horse). I have a feeling it'll take me 100+ hours to complete this, if I don't get so frustrated I quit before that. I don't know how anyone can claim it's easy. NSMB was easy. This is like trying to tie shoes blindfolded with only your toes.

I beat it and liked it, but it's not my favorite Wii game right now. At this time, I'm trying to pull off the 3 hearts challenge. So far, I'm on my way to the Yetis' place, but I started losing interest. I'll get to it eventually. It's pretty funny, though, when you take one hit from an enemy (big green goblin guy, actually), and you already see a fairy flying around you.

Well, my friend let me borrow ir for Gamecube a while, and I got to the fourth dungeon before he took it back.

Now I've got it for Wii, and I just got the Tears of Light in Kakariko Village. It's kinda boring so I just play a little at a time.

Well, I beat it and loved it.... on the Gamecube. Then I got it again for Wii and I think I finished the water temple and started playing other games. I have no doubt that I would have finished it 100% already if I hadn't already done so on the GC, but right now I'm having fun with other games I haven't played before. I'll definitely come back to it though at some point.... hell, I've been working on the first Metroid Prime for a few years now.... always go back to it when I have nothing else to play.

I beat the game almost 100%.  I only got to level 1-6 in Roll Goal, that was the only task I didn't accomplish.  After that I quit.  It was a good and extremely long game, but I just didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped.

Seriously if you dont beat TP your either a total nubcake or your just not a real nintendo fan. i make myself beat every game because it has a great story and they are great games. also TP is insanely easy so there really is no reason you shouldnt beat it. I completed the game 100% and i loved every minute. 45 hours and 23min to be exact

How can you tell what percentage you beat it at? Anyway, I beat it on the GC first since I couldn't find a Wii. I enjoyed it immensely, but when I finally got it on the Wii, it was kinda boring, though I did beat that version too. Other than the controls and the east-west switch it was the same as the GC version. I still rated it high but I wish I would of waited for the Wii version first. I am looking forward to, hopefully a brand new, Wii-only Zelda game. I will close by saying I did enjoy the Wii controls over the Gamecube's.

i loved the game but I wish i didn't hear any of the criticism of it while I was playing.  I would approach bosses in fear, but then remember that gamespot kept saying all the bosses are too easy, so it was like a security blanket for me.

you can tell by if you genually did everything. like i did every side quest. like roll goal, poes, bugs, magic armor, spring water, secret moves, etc. thats basically how you tell. but there is a thing online that asks you what you have completed and calculates out what percent youve completed. i dont know where it is. h.o ill try to find it.

Oh ok. Thanks. For a second there I though that there was supposed to be a percentage counter next to my file name.

Heh, I was in the same position as you until yesterday. I got there, was like "I don't want to do another water temple... these suck!" so I gave up for three months. So two days ago I decided to beat it, and I did, but then I stopped playing again. For some reason this Zelda just isn't holding me like the previous two did on the N64, and Link to the Past did on the SNES.
