In Fully 3D? and In Fully 2D?
I want a 3DS and was wondering this...

I usually get about 4 to 5 hours with mine, although that's more of a guess than anything as I haven't timed it. It may be closer to four. I run it on the second highest screen brightness and power saving off (it gives the screens a weird tint), and 3D mostly on, although I think the battery hit is the same for mild 3D as full 3D. The system also lasts about two days in sleep before going completely dead. That bothers me more than the ~4 hour battery life, as every other device I have with a sleep mode can last more than a week without being charged, and it also ruins the spotpass feature.DJ_LaeThat is what the "Charging Cradle" is for. Just plop it in, wait for the orange light to go off, then be on your merry way. You get SpotPass even while in sleep mode, so with the cradle it'll be in sleep mode as long as you have electricity.
Unless you meant StreetPass, but who would use that for 2 whole days without charging at least once?...
But anyway...I get about 4 hours FULL 3D and 6 or 7 hours 2D when using my 3DS. I have my screens brightness set half way, with "Power saving" set off, I'd probably get an hour more in both modes if I had Power saving on. But like DJ_Lae said, it gives the screen a weird light brown tint which makes everything look dull, so I just leave it off.
It lasts a good 4 hours for me and longer for regular DS games, although less than the DS lite/DSi but it doesn't really bother me since I only ever had the original DS. Anyway, I have never had a problem with the battery life before.. the only occasion where I can see it beeing a problem would be on a long flight. Otherwise I am always around an electrical outlet and a car charger costs like $10.
