Will the next Ninty console support it? Many people say that it's the best control made by Ninty so what do you guys think?

This is the best controller ever made by Nintendo IMO:

SNES controller

And I don't believe the GCN controller will be supported in the next generation.

idk about the best. maybe the most durable, but not the best. I personally love the gamecube controller as much as some people seem to hate it.

I'm sorry! Already made a correction in my post. Just my opinion, that's all. :P

The GC controller was my favorite until I tried the 360 controller. It can be improved, so Nintendo should have done so already.

I believe Ninty is already kind of weeding out the GCN controller right now, most of its lifeforce is the VC, and even that isn't concrete. I doubt the next system will support the mighty and powerful Gamecube controller.

Hopefully next gen too, especially if it has GC support. Its conventional controller perfection.

But i do have a feeling it will all get replaced with the Classic controller. The pro one looks pretty good.

I doubt Nintendo's next console will support the GC controller. The Wii uses software to emulate the NES, SNES, N64, etc. ... and part of that emulation includes using the Classic controller in place of the NES, SNES, N64, etc. controllers. The Wii doesn't emulate the GC, it has the GC hardware built into it and it "becomes" a GC when you play a GC game, and when the Wii is functioning as a GC it only responds to the GC controller ports. The next console will probably be powerful enough to emulate the GC with software, and with emulation will come the ability to use the Classic controller in place of the GC controller.

I love both the GC and classic controller. If either were used next gen I would be happy (but I prefer gc a little more).

I like the shape of the GC controller a little better than the Classic controller, it's easier for me to hold.

I hope it doesn't stop being used! The GC controller is the only one I use in Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I'm not sure what I'd do without it in the next-gen SSB. ...I oughta get used to the Clasic Controller...

I think pretty much every controller Nintendo has made has been stellar. The GBA SP is an exception to that rule, I did not like it, Sam-I-Am.

I actually think the Wii remote makes a better controller than the original NES controller as well. Playing games like Mario Bros. and Metroid on that thing, man, it's perfect.

Also, I think Nintendo will have a more traditional controller next gen. That's just my impression. Or else they will make some seperate controller you can use with more buttons and grips and stuff.

If Virtual Console will exist as a library for all classic Nintendo games, then every future console will need to be able to play them. So, I think motion control and tradition contollers are a standard with Nintendo right now.
