How many of you bought, or are planning to buy, Monster Hunter Tri?

I was just thinking about the events leading up to this game in the west. From the anouncement that the game would be on the Wii, to the uncertanty that the game would be released here (and the petitions to convince Capcom it was a good idea), to the anouncement, and then the uncertanty if online would be free. So after all these events, I'm curious how many here bought Monster Hunter Tri. Show yourselves!!

Yeah I bought it. It's really slow paced at times and it takes forever to get going but I'm really loving it.

You know I got it! Once you play for awhile, you'll get the hang of the controls. That's when you discover that the real difficulty is not in the controls but rather it's the overly aggressive beasts that you have to overcome. It's a challenging yet rewarding experience that hooks you into strengthening yourself and facing tougher monsters.

I'm planning to buy it soon.

Been waiting for it to come out but I don't have time to play atm.

and I've delayed SMG2 for some other time since I already have SMG1 and never played a MH game. :?

Me and every one of my friends who owns a Wii bough it and we play online every single day. In fact I just took a break from online to come on the forums lol. It's AMAZING!

I want to get it. I was making a tough decision between Monster Hunter Tri and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Since I heard MPT was discontinued and Target still had it at $50 new, I got that instead. Plus I want the MH tri CCP bundle.

Absolutley the smarter move dude. The Trilogy is easily the better value and you're correct in moving in on it being that it is discontinued. That being said Monster Hunetr should DEFINITELY be your next purchase!

I'll be getting it tomorrow. I would have gotten it last week, but things came up in my family that prevented me from getting it.

Given all of the noise it's making these days, I'd like to give it a shot somewhere down the line. That said, I'll probably be waiting a good while before I get the chance. I have plenty of Wii games I still need to get as is, and my budget hasn't gotten any better recently. :P

bought it 2 days after it came out already racked up over 30 hours

Once I've finished finals, I'll definitely be picking up the classic controller pro bundle. I know quite a few other people who have gotten it, some I'm really looking forward to hunting online.

Liked it for the first 2 days I played it and then all of a sudden BAM! Addicted. I'm sleep deprived because of it.

It looks really good so to say, which is surprising to me considering I was never really interested in MH before.

I might pick this up sometime.
