i wonder?because when i play some games, my right hand, which holding stylus, sometimes block my eyesight, and with games that does not require much use of stylus, i don't know when to use it,so... if games that use stylus or not, you have to hold stylus all the time? ready for any problem?or just leave stylus where it be and use ur fingers instead(games that not require stylus use much)?how do all of you use your stylus effectively?

I generally keep my stylus close by. Usually after playing a game long enough you can determine how often you need it. It would be wise to read up on a game first, or Even ask a store clerk when buying a game if they know how often you would most likely need it. Regarding holding it, if I can't see I slightly curve my wrist so the stylus is more horizontal to the touch screen.

For example, Phantom Hourglass will see you rarely, if ever, use buttons or the D-pad. It is strictly a touch game only which may cause problems and complaints. It might change before release, but that will defiantly be a game where you can practice with your stylus with angles or other concerns.

for Pokemon, I use my fingers most the time because the digital menu buttons are so huge. When I'm in an online battle I use the stylus though for precise move selection.(dont wanna goof up and use Earthquake on a Flying type) Sonic Rush, I tilt the stylus at an angle on those special zones that require it. Then on Metroid Hunters and Mario 64, I use the Thumb strap and skip the stylus all together.

It depends on whether or not I feel up to being lazy and using the stylus or if I want to hold the DS with both hands. If I play with the Stylus, I simply hold most of the DS in my right, while stylusing with my left. I also sometimes have the stylus beside me, or in my hand while I use the d-pad. And it doesn't get in my sight because I hold it from the very opposite tip and just tap the screen.

I have found it is just practice to find an angle that works well for the screen layout for the game.

I don't like the thumb strap it doesn't respond as well I thought it would. But i use the 3 finger technique, hold the stylus with your thumb, index, and middle finger and you should be fine.

I went to Staples and bought a 4-pack of PalmPilot stylus for 50 cents off of the clearance rack and use them for when I have problems seeing.  They are a good 2 inches longer than the standard stylus.
