I can respect that, but personally I think they've got the best storyline to them.
If they add Street Pass (or whatever it's called) functions like *fight all the trainers you crossed) and in full 3D with updated graphics, count me in day 1.
I was just talking about a remake for Red/Blue today with my girlfriend... I would want a whole new story.
Like a whole new generation of trainers and Gym Leaders and a TON of references to Pokemon Red/Blue original or FireRed/LeafGreen.
I don't just want a remake...
It'd be cool to have all the newer features (including the cool battle types, and more of them).
An original story (for once) would be great too.
Like ALL the Gym Leaders from the old game have passed on the title to a new leader... As if 15+ years had actually passed between then and now. It'd bring the whole series full-circle and introduce a whole new generation to the original Pokemon.
I wouldn't mind seeing "newly discovered" Kanto-Pokemon either, it'd give Gamefreak/Nintendo another reason to remake them...
I want to feel like time has passed since I last showed up and that their society has changed (reflecting from the battles, gym leaders, playable characters and so-on).
Only thinkg I DON'T want is a "fully 3D" game that someone mentioned above... I prefer the 2.5D (2D-asymmetric view) of the Pokemon series... It's a signature of the series... And fully 3D games still don't look the best on the 3DS (though MUCH better than on the DS/DSi).
What do you want me to say?
That i wouldn't love running around in Pallet Town and Saffron City on 3d graphics?
I would worship that.
But they wouldn't remake them AGAIN.(sadly).
And while we are on the subject of remakes, let me say that they.won't.remake.Ruby.and.Sapphire.
>_>
I would rather see a Ruby/Sapphire remake on the 3DS, and the original Red/Blue games get added to the eShop.
Superzone
Agreed completely.
I'm too bored of Kanto for there to be a third remake. I don't hate Kanto, but it's my least favourite region. My favourite is Hoenn.
Haha B&W graphics are almost identical to D&P, but I see your point. If they told me a D/P remake was coming out tomorrow with B/W Graphics and its features I would buy it in a heartbeat. :P So obviously I'd be all over a 3DS R/B remake.
Pixel-Perfect
On topic, just release a main Pokemon game that pushes the 3DS to the limit and I will be happy Nintendo. Do it.
This. I would buy both in a heartbeat.I would rather see a Ruby/Sapphire remake on the 3DS, and the original Red/Blue games get added to the eShop.
Superzone
If it's more like Pokemon Yellow, with the features of Black & White, I'll totally would buy it. I skip red & green for the GBA.
