You mean I get to write this... again? Twice in a day, what a treat! In the future, however, I suggest you do some research on the system's games yourself instead.
For this month, pick up Mario Strikers Charged, NFS Carbon, Godfather, RE4, and DBZ:BT2. That'll easily hold you over until Madden 08, Metroid Prime 3, and Tiger Woods 08. In October, you can pick up Zack & Wiki and BWii. You can run those until Fire Emblem 10, then head off to SMG and DBZ:BT3. From there, you've got a month until SSBB. That's 14 games in the next 5 months.
If you don't like any of these games, you're out of luck and have nobody to blame but yourself. Buyer's remorse means you made the mistake, not someone else.
I'm only looking forward to Brawl, Corruption, Galaxy, and Umbrella Chronicles. I already have Twilight Princess, RE4, and Super Paper Mario, which are the only games that are out that are of interest. I'm disappointed with the lack of core games as well.
there are plenty of good games for the Wii right now. Zelda, Super Paper Mario, Mario Strikers, Sonic, Excite Truck, Wario Ware, etc. and tons of VC games.
most people aren't, too much party games, but i recommend Resident Evil 4, Super Paper Mario, and it you want a fun party game, Mario party 8 is pretty good, only reason why it's got bad reviews is because it had no major improvement over the past couple of mario party's. but if you haven't play any of it, you'll enjoy mp8. plus, north america gets strikers on tuesday.

Where are the good games? For now you can have at least Zelda, RE4, Super Paper Mario. And til 2008 you'll be able to have RE:UC, Metroid Prime 3, BWii, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros,Soul Calibur Legend, Fire Emblem, Nights, Manhunt 2. And in 2008 to date, there will have Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, dragon Quest Sword, No More heroes, Disaster: Days of Crisis, Sadness, Medal of Honor Heroes 2, Mario Kart Wii and if you are not satisfied with that, buy a dog.
The 360 didn't have nearly as many "good games" at this point of it's life cycle, and the PS3 isn't even close. What is the problem with some of you. Geez.
Strange comment as i think the Wii is the best (note carefully the next word) gaming console out. It's certainly the best console Ninty has EVER done and at least they launch a console on time, without major faults and doesn't remove BC chip to save money.

Excatly and I love how sometimes I get called a xbox fanboy on here even though I dispise the 360 and don't own it, then when I go over to the lovely ps3 board to get some advice from time to time it turns out 50% of the time I am a nintnedo fanboy since I own more of their systems then sony >.> (game collector duh of course nintendo put out more then anyone else tod ate). Gotta love how we all think xP
And yes the guy is right we do need more great games instead of like 4 that are out and only 4 more titles planned for this year. Oh well at least I got my psp, GC and xbox to keep me busy till then xP
I gotta say i agree. Games coming out doesnt mean good games. Speculation dissapoints more often than not. I gotta say resident evil 4 is worth it though. I'm having a blast with it

Please, don't degrade this into another system war thread, ikwal is just p***ed off that there hasn't been any game that showed signs of developers actually putting some effort into it.
The first year is always soft on "A" titles for any system. Wii has some pretty good ones as mentioned in this thread. With the number of consoles sold, I'd say that Wii has a strong future. What you are experiencing now is the price of being an early adopter. Those who bought the PS3 out of the gate are experiencing the same thing. Be patient.
