look on the official smash brothers brawl site and you will see the latest update. apparantly it is a world in which trophies fight(?) does any body have any idea what that is all about?
in super smash borthers the charecters are just trophies brought to life by master hand but i dont really get the rest of it and whats that thing in the smoke?
it looks like this ssb is going to have a much more in depth story with a lead badguy or something. Reminds me of the guy from SPM kinda. Maybe he polutes the ssbb world and turns people evil or some garbage like that, better than master hand............

The puppet? Notice how there's a string on its head... and the only thing that can control a puppet is a hand... hmmm... what do you make of this?
It also mentions that some trophies don't follow the rules meaning they won't return to trophies when they lose and it shows a pic of what looks like Metaknight's ship. It definately means a story is being created.
Does it matter? It's a fighting game with Nintendo characters. Since whne do people really care about the story of fighting games or Nintendo games? We are just here to duke it out with out fav Nintendo characters... and Snake!

Look on the website and look where it says this world, then look to the right. It has the same symbol as what is next to the game modes link. That means this world is a game mode! If you click on the game modes link, there is a grey box with 3 question marks like this ??? that you can also click on which just takes you to a link of this world. Wonder what this could mean? I bet we will find out on monday!
darkstar knows what's going on. definitely the opening video of some sort, or at least a build up to a type of event mode or classic modelike in ssbm. i hope they don't spend too much time focusing on a story or adding brand new nintendo characters and keep the game pure nintendo mascot fighting goodness.

Sounds like the opening of a story mode to me. That thing at the end, it does look like a puppet. So I wonder if it's a sub-boss before Master Hand.

Well it looks like a begining intro to the game.. But it does sound like it has an actual story on this one, who knows. Like said in recent posts The thing at the end is Dark/purple Mass from Kirby 64 AKA Kirby : The crystal shards, and its what made everyone turn evil.

some people were saying the purple stuff is thedark matterfrom kirby the thing that can shape shift? I kinda think that it looks like the dark energy from Metroid Prime 2 cause i remember the dark energy reanimated stuff like quadraxis
