i don't think mohh2 will sell very well :(

wellmohh2 iscoming out right when galaxy is coming out and now that it has got a 9.5 (AMAZING) and has gotten great reviews, this game will sell like crazy,....which is mostly likely to take mohh2 sales. i'm planning on buying mohh2 but galaxy first, and maybe mohh2 around christmas. it is most likely to get big sales later but not around launch date with SMG coming out. soooo will that mean there won't be too many people playing online??

Online play and the arcade adds some value. But it is just another, check that, yet another WWII game, and it doesn't look that good visually if you ever played a WWII shooter on the XBOX 360. I dread more muddy brown textures that make up ravaged cities in any WWII game on any platform.

And for anyone who has a 360 the 32 player online is nothing special.

I hope it sells well and I will rent it, but I have my doubts about this games success. At least the controls sound phenomenal according to IGN.

not just Super Mario Galaxy will take sells Cod4, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Crysis (there is alot mroe too) will take over sells too but if you tallking about wii sales then yes SMG will take some percentage of sells for the games releasing next week

Well Nintendog, sales of this game very much will affect us... there is the direct effect of people online but thats minor to the non-direct effect of how other publishers will view this game. From what I hear this game has the best controls of not only any FPS on the Wii (yes the guys from IGN say the controlls are even better than Metroid) but it also has a huge online mode. If this game doesnt sell well developers will be less likely to follow this model. Every time we have one of these games that are a "trail blazer" game like this with its online mode or Zack and Wiki with its fantastic puzzles/use of the wiimote, it matters to us very much if people buy it because we want more of these to be made.

Honestly this game will sell well regardless. Sure the second greatest game ever is coming out the same week, but this is MoH is just another AAA title coming out next week. Galaxy coming out will definitely hinder some sales of this and other games for sure, but just because CoD4 is coming out doesn't mean people won't be buying Assassin's Creed. MoH is a huge title for the Wii, and while it is another WWII shooter (and I'm sick of em too) it does look top notch and one of many great Wii titles let alone great titles across all platforms. Out of the gate it won't fly as fast with Galaxy coming but there ae plenty of people clamoring to get it who can easily afford both games. Myself being one of those. Plus, in time, by the holiday's it could be seeling very well after the MArio buzz has died.

Well i can see what you mean but theas 2 games are two totally different genras. but MOHH2 will sell great for one big reason 32 player online, and wii owners want thier online play. zcds

I'm passing Galaxy for MOHH2 and RE:UC. Mario games took a dive for me after Super Mario Brothers for the SNES.
