so, me and my step bro were playing the sims 2 on wii (gamecube). Then my little sister runs into the cords and BAM it slams to the floor. and guessed what happened, it wont play games anymore it sucksilovetehwii

They do make quality products....just see what happens when you drop a DS, or Gamecube, or N64 on the floor.Â

Well the Wii is a good product, but unlike the Gamecube which had controller wires and such, was better designed to absorb damage and impact. The carrying handle on the back was meant to absorb damage before the main "cube". And even still the Cube sign made for room inside, rigidity, strength. The Wii design, not so much...............but then again it's not meant to be out in the open, but in a shelf.Â
Ouch. Well actually just today I tripped over my GC controller cables and my Wii fell and it turned on by itself. And I was like oook at least it spared me the trouble of turning it on. But it's still working perfectly fine.
Sorry to hear that it won't play games anymore. And Nintendo repairs it for free right? That's what I hear. So although you can't play games for a while, it's good that's it's (probably) free. Heh hope you didn't give your sister a hard time about it.
