I just finished Metroid Prime 3.

What an amazing game. However it is not perfect. You see, it was just too easy. THat last boss was a joke compared to the last two games. Just too easy. BUt none the less, I havea question for those who have beaten it with me.

The game did not clarify this: Is Dark Samus, the Phazon Suit that Samus left behind after fighting Metroid prime?

If not, then maybe its not easy.

I beat it in 18:00 and sadly only got 99%. I didn't feel like extending my game time 4 hours looking for one missle expansion. :-(

Yeah, I got the satelites, but I didn't see anything on the map, so my guess is I missed something on the opening ship (maybe) or on the Valhalla. I dont know, but I got everything that was marked, including the snow area with the Chozo Statue.

How many were there? I got the morph ball one in the elevator (im pretty sure, although I didn't double check and maybe I got it once and then died and didnt go back for it.) And I remember getting an energy tank. Is that it?

There was a ship missile upgrade, an energy tank, and I think 2 missile upgrades but it HAS to be there if you got everywhere else and in th snow place. There was nothing that you weren't FORCED to get on the first ship.

I'm guessin I'l start playing thru it again here soon on Hyper, and I'll have to see how well I do with it. But I'll keep an extra watchful eye out on the Valhalla.

I just beat it too, actually just a few minutes ago.

It's not the best Prime game of the three. Surely, it's the best looking, that is undisputed. It's too abd Samus didn't keepthe Varia suit for the whole game. That blue pulsing through the armor kinda annoyed me a little. Still, great game, but not quite an epic game, which is what I was hoping for.

The traveling to different planets and the similar battlefields in each Seed reminded me too much of MPH. In a nutshell, too organized. That is why I think the 1st one was the best. Every spot on the map was spontaneous. Every battle scene was a marvel to behold because it was something we never saw before, ESPECIALLY the final battle. Boy, was that invigorating.

I don't get why people like to brag about how fast they beat a game. :? It's like saying "Look how fast I blasted through it doing the minimum requirements and not understanding anything!!!11"

I'm not bragging about how fast I beat it. I scanned damn near everything and have unlocked alot of the extras. I just got a little overzealous and played it too fast for my liking, but that's my fualt.

Lol I beat it in 16 hourswith 99%, I just wanted to throw it out the window or sumetin. And I agree wiht all of them, try Hyper Mode, Its gona bring u close to tears

Not you but like the people who do rush through the game as fast as they can.

Metroid Prime 3 is an overrated weird shooter, people say it is better than bioshock but bioshock deserves a 10 when being compared to M P 3 the controls for fps is terrible on wii go argue and cry see what i carexxDarkRulerxx

Um actually the controls are the best of almost every shooter out there and it was a little overrated so i will give u that but it was a great game. U proly havent even played it it so u go cry and I wont give a ****.

I finished it last night with 98%. I decided that I didn't want to tear up the valhalla looking for two items. Thinking back. The items were probably in the snow world and I missed them the first time and since it's a different time period, it wasn't on my maps.

Regardless, I thought the game was great. I used about 19 hours and the end boss was a bit on the easy side (on veteran) but mother brain in super metroid is a cinch too and so is the queen metroid in metroid 2. I think it has more to do with the fact that you've gotten more skilled with the controls and gathered so many powerups.

The boss that I had the hardest time with was Rundas. There wasn't a whole lot of health and the common game mechanics were new to me (the lasso being used so frequently on bosses, etc.).

I still think the game handles great and looks phenominal and tells a much more compelling story than the other prime games. I stand by my 9.5...

well, if you finish with 100% you get a surprise ending. Now that is a true story completion.

Thank you, uh Carolynmichelle, thats what I wanted to hear from the begining, but how are you supposed to know that? Do you have to complete prime 1 and 2 with 100%? I beat prime with I think 80% and Prime 2 with all but one expansion.
