O.K. I'm sure there are a lot of these posted up on the forum but I can't find anything to help me. I have internet on my computer (broadband) but my T.V. room is about 40 feet away from my computer, so I get so bloody annoyed about how I have this internet on my computer but I can't even get it on my Wii, plus how I am missing out on all the stuff on VC, and everybody votes and stuff. I live in New Zealand so the Nintendo Wifi USB adapter isn't even buyable (as far as I know) here. I tried buying a 3rd party one (Datel) but it didn't work either and it screwed up my default gateway, so I haven't tried it again since. Plus my parents would never let me get a T.V. put in my room, even though I would pay for it (I even asked them). PLEASE HELP ME, PLEASE, I don't know how much longer I can survive without getting internet, and when Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out if I still don't have internet it will just destroy me having the damn internet option there and I can't even use it .

Oh right I forgot to say that I don't have a wireless, I have a wired one, and that is where my problem comes in

I wonder how it is that you were not able to get the DATEL adapter to work. I was able to use a simple USB WiFi adapter from airlinkplus and using their utility I converted the USB adapter into an access point very, very easily.

As a side comment, I now have an idea on a web site illustrating just how to get all that working. I am at my graveyard shift right now, so I can't even do it right now since I would like to take screen captures. I will check into this DATEL one you've got and see what I can dig up.

My Wii could find the Datel one I got, but the connection was at 1 bar (the worste one), and when I selected it, it said it couldn't connect to the internet, I can't remember the error code since it was about 2 - 3 months ago. It would be cool if you could get that website up.
