they just released diddy kong racing ds for the ds and rare made that game! also in 2005 they made banjo pilot for gba... i dont get it can someone explain

rare cant be 'still part of' nintendo. nintendo sold rare to microsoft.

Microsoft owns Rare. But they allow Rare to make games for handleds because it won't affect their sales since Microsoft doesn't have a handled.

I wonder if rare will release games on the VC. Its microsoft's right to withhold that property, I think. Does anyone know about that? I know those games were licensed to nintendo, so maybe that means something.

The only games Rare will be able to put out on VC is Nintendo's exclusive characters. Donkey Kong country so far is the only VC game released by Rare.

dude DK is still Ninendos Char. so they can make games off of that char. Rare is not part of the N anymore

Yes they can since the Donkey Kong franchise is a nintendo exclusive. Read the article in the other post about this they mention something about it.
