You have to admit, it doesn't feel all that comfortable, and it can be a little annoying having it plugged into the Wiimote. I propose that Nintendo create a new classic controler, based off the design of the Gamcube controller. It would be all white and completely wireless, with the same buttons as the Cube Controler except that there is another shoulder button on the left and in the middle there is a Power and Home button along with Start and Select. And the most important addition, the new CC would feture motion control! It would become more of a standard to include the option to play with the Classic controller, and Nintendo might even design some games that use the new Classic as it's primary controller. Sound good?

sounds great apart from it being motion sensored, that would bump up the price and the Wiimote doesnt need replacing.

No. If you enjoy the GC design so much, use a GC pad. The GC pad was the worst controller of last gen IMHO.

The whole point of the CC was to make it look like a SNES pad so that the older gamers would feel confortable with it. The whole point was to bet on nostalgia so the older gamers would bring their load of disposable income to the VC.

Exactly. And if you put your Wiimote on your pocket while playing with the classic, it won't feel uncomfortable.

It feels cheap, cheaper than the old SNES and NES controllers felt for sure. Some buttons seem clunky, like the triggers. I wish it was wireless too. It feels tacky plugged into the Wiimote while you play. I really love the VC though, dont get me wrong folks!!!

You have to admit, it doesn't feel all that comfortable I disagree, it feels like a SNES controller, which I love,

and it can be a little annoying having it plugged into the Wiimote Not really. Just put the Wiimote next to you and hold the CC.

I propose that Nintendo create a new clasic controler, based off the design of the Gamcube controller. It would be all white and completely wireless No way. The same reason I don't want a wireless nunchuck, it would take up more batteries and would be heavier,

with the same buttons as the Cube Controler For SNES games, the cube controller sucks. Try running and jumping in Mario World, its so uncomfortable

except that there is another shoulder button on the left and in the middle there is a Power and Home button along with Start and Select. And the most important addition, the new CC would feture motion control! It would become more of a standard to include the option to play with the clasic controller, and Nintendo might even design some games that use the new clasic as it's primary controller. Why? The main reason to buy the Wii is for the Wiimote. If you just wanted to play games with a standard controller and tilty support, go buy a PS3.

Sound good? You guessHead_of_games

I haven't even tried the classic controller, I just use the GC controller, which I find very good and comfortable. The classic controller is good anyways, if you want to feel the games as the were originally.

Now what they really need to do is have the Classic be able to play GameCube games.

I like the classic controller. I feel as though it is perfect in every way. It reminds me of a nice autumn day, crisp and nostalgic. You guys know what I mean.

I find it fairly comfortable, and don't mind at all that it plugs into the Wiimote*. Also, the problem with the GCN button layout is that it works terribly with many SNES titles. (this is why I bought a CC in the first place)

*it saves some doh, and prevents the headache of having to resync devices if you were to have four Wiimotes and four CCs (since bluetooth maxes out at seven devices)

This makes more sense... I hate how the Wii is 1/2 backwards compatible. It can play the discs but you still need a controller and a memory card. The chances are if I own a GC pad and a memory card, I owned a GC and already played through it's craptastic library.

I love the classic controller, to be honest. It's feels like a more solid version of the SNES, and the SNES controller happens to be my favorite controller of all time, so yeah...

no, the GC should be replaced. They should have made the GC backward compatiblity accept the CC or made one that would work for both. The problem is to use my Wii as a GC I have to buy GC and to play SNES games correctly I have to buy another controller. Give me one controller that does it all already. Personally the way to solve the problem would have been to make the game buttons mappable on the VC games, then we wouldn't have to worry about the CC at all.

I like the classic controller...

the only problem I have with it is that the chord is on the bottom side of the controller.
