I think Wiitag.org got sued by Microsoft for real this time.

Now when you try to go there you get this

"Could not select database"

Yeah I think they really got there ass sued this time. Kind of sucks.

It gave you a sort of Xbox live gamertag but Wii-ified. Microsoft probably sued them.

Since the one for the PS3 is still working just fine, perhaps the site is just down?

Really, I'm not sure if MS could shut down a site like that- I don't think it's possible to patent an idea, just how you do it. Like, could I go patent the idea of curing cancer, then demand royalties if it ever happens? 

I'm confused...

How is this copying Microsoft's idea? I doubt they took it down.. probably just problems. If they got sued, I'm betting they would have a message there.

I don't think microsoft has anything to do with gamertags you see in forums, another site makes and host them, maybe that site sued wiitag.com It's just a guess but I think that mocrosoft didn't and couldn't sue wiitag.com
